They offer an opportunity to be part of their organization as a Senior Product Manager to work in the Product department in Florida. This position has profit and loss responsibility for states assigned. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing several aspect of our state strategy in states assigned, most importantly managing pricing and program changes for both personal auto and home insurance products.
Senior Product Manager Responsibilities:
- Participates in the development, execution, monitoring and progress reporting of state strategies with the goal of achieving profitability and growth for personal home and auto lines in all assigned states.
- Manages the complete rate review process, including the proposal, filing and implementation of all pricing and product changes.
Senior Product Manager Requirements:
- Five or more years of Personal Lines Product Management experience demonstrating a thorough knowledge of rate making techniques, Personal Lines pricing and products.
- Experience managing multiple states including the rate review process.
- Successful record of profit and loss management for assigned territory.
- Strong computer spreadsheet and database skills: Access, Excel, and Foxpro.
- Superior problem solving using quantitative and analytical skills to make data driven decisions.
- Strong understanding of statistical concepts.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), including the ability to effectively interface with all levels of management and staff.
- Demonstrates the ability to analyze data and develop strategic recommendations.
- Ability to present ideas and information in a clear, concise, organized and diplomatic manner.
- Bachelors required, with course work in mathematics, statistics, actuarial science, finance or insurance preferred.
