The Senior Commercial Lines Account Executive is a vital part of the strategic leadership within this independent insurance agency’s risk management unit. The agency’s focus is on growth, both through size and scope of accounts but also with intentionality in developing niche verticals. Producers cannot do it all; they cannot originate business and then be pulled back into the technical details of accounts that remove them from the field. The Account Executive in this position will have authority, autonomy and oversight for insureds particularly when it comes to plan design and marketing.

Senior Commercial Lines Account Executive Responsibilities:
- You’ll be most involved in strategic program and plan design; the true marketing function of obtaining competitive and unique risk management options for clients. Keep tabs on changes to risk, exposure and level of satisfaction with the agency’s service offerings. Make introductions to value added services the client may want pertaining to claims and loss control. Work through escalated customer service issues, workflow and processes and procedures to keep the service and marketing functions running smoothly.

- To be considered for this role you must offer at least 5-7 years of senior account management, marketing or account executive experience within another retail insurance agency, brokerage or consulting firm. Your emphasis must be in the placement and technical management of larger commercial accounts.
- Advanced marketing proficiency including prior experience with selection, placement and direct negotiations of new and renewal business with insurance company underwriters; risk architecture (program design) through risk analysis, understanding of loss control measures, contract interpretation and due diligence on current coverage forms compared to operations and exposures of the account.
- Can accept the responsibilities of being a leader within a client service team. This includes experience managing problems with current accounts, determining correction action and bringing team members into the process of client advocacy and support.
- Will take an interest in continued technical development and innovation such as developing a niche practice or product specialty, achieving continuing education designations, seeking out process improvements and representing the agency in front of clients and insurance company partners in a manner consistent with its client first philosophy.
