Commercial Account Manager Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary client service point of contact to the insured handling a host of different issues that come up including changes in exposure, additions and cancellations of policies, billing and claims concerns, renewal preparation and marketing; creating RFPs and communicating with the sales team on updates pre-closing.
- Answer questions about coverage and pricing, create and execute the renewal cycle, coordinate all renewal marketing and create RFPs.
- Be a resource for producers and client service colleagues concerning markets, coverage issues and claims.
Commercial Account Manager Qualifications:
- Five (5) or more years of commercial insurance experience; most with an agency as a CSR or account manager.
- Must have experience being the primary point of contact on a book of business handling not just administrative tasks but also direct client contact, some marketing and renewal management.
- Familiarity with an agency management system like TAM or Applied is very helpful.
- State insurance license.
