This position,
Personal Lines Customer Service Representative, is an opportunity to work for an
insurance agency where you can support an existing book of business. The agency
writes all lines of property and casualty and group benefits coverage, yet still
places a premium on the service given to clients in personal lines which makes
this position extremely important to the fabric of its culture. You will work
in all phases of the client management process within a close knit team that
prides itself on offering exceptional customer service and taking advantage of
chances to write new accounts.
Personal Lines
Customer Service Representative Responsibilities:
- You will be responsible for policy administration such as billing, endorsements, policy checking, binders and certificate issuance.
- You will respond to inquiries from clients in a timely manner.
- You will prepare renewals by gathering updated information from clients, reviewing claims history, preparing submission packets, rating policies online and writing up proposals.
- You will accept internal referrals, contact prospective candidates and work up quotes for new business sales.
Personal Lines
Customer Service Representative Qualifications:
- At least 2-3 years of personal lines insurance experience with knowledge of homeowners, auto and umbrella coverage.
- Ability to step into a team with an existing workload, can handle a lot of online rating and paperless documentation and is comfortable discussing new business and closing deals.
- State insurance license.
