Our client is a technology and services organization focused on helping the insurance vertical proactively enhance their Return-to-Work programs with its suite of tools. Our client has an exciting opportunity for an entrepreneurial minded insurance professional. The Life Waiver Product Manager will report to the company’s CEO and be responsible for assisting in securing new Life Waiver business, product development and account management including customer support/satisfaction.
Life Waiver Product Manager Responsibilities:
- Bringing additional waiver of life premium claims and operational expertise to the company
- Supporting the sales staff in product demonstrations, presentations, discussions and communications with prospects and clients
- Performing product management and process improvement functions to provide the development staff with high/detailed level product improvement specifications
- Serving as the liaison between clients & our internal operations staff
- Monitoring and supporting onsite customer utilization of the product with the objective of exceeding client’s Life Waiver utilization rate targets
- Actively participating in Life Waiver implementation planning – with external/internal project teams
- Providing technical/workflow direction & expertise to client(s) related to the Life Waiver product
Life Waiver Product Manager Requirements:
- 5+ years of Life Waiver Claims Experience working for a major Life Carrier with in depth knowledge of both this specific function’s claims and operational processes
- Disability knowledge from a physical capabilities and/or restrictions & limitations perspective
- Excellent analytical, problem solving and communication skills
- Excellent oral, written and presentation skills
- Comfortable with use of web applications & desktop products (i.e. Microsoft Office, CRM’s, etc.)
- College degree
