My client is a life insurance company that has been offering a wide variety of insurance products for over 100 years. They are strong financially as demonstrated by their “Excellent” rating by AM Best. They currently offer an opportunity to join their executive team as their Corporate Marketing Executive. In this key position you will lead the marketing efforts of the organization. Direct and execute corporate marketing plans.
Corporate Marketing Executive responsibilities:
- Defines and articulates the vision and mission.
- Develops, recommends and implements the long-term strategic marketing plan for the organization.
- Oversees advertising and promotion activities including print, online, electronic media, and direct mail.
- Establishes a compelling and consistent corporate image.
- Develop an overall branding position for the organization.
- Directs and oversees web development including design and maintenance of the corporate website.
- Oversees research and development to position company in the forefront of their target marketplace.
- Establishes marketing plans to align with strategic initiatives in coordination with the National Sales Executive.
Corporate Marketing Executive requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing and/or communication. Master’s degree (M.S. or M.B.A.), desired.
- Professional designations such as APR, preferred. LOMA life insurance designations including FLMI and the LIMRA leadership designation, LLIF also helpful.
- Six to twelve years corporate marketing experience in a life insurance environment ideal.
- The emphasis is on marketing skills and tying marketing metrics to the business verse product line experience.
- Additionally, five to ten years’ experience working at a management level, preferably at Director level or above.
- Visionary, creative thinker; consensus builder/collaborative; highly accountable and results driven; sharp business acumen, proactive problem solver, outstanding communications skills, influencing both verbally and in writing.
