Our client is a technology and services organization focused on helping the insurance vertical proactively enhance their Return-to-Work programs with its suite of tools. The tools are utilized by Short/Long Term Disability, Life & Workers Compensation insurance carriers, Self-Insured Employers, TPA’s and Case Management providers to enhance their current Return-to-Work initiatives to help claimants/injured workers return sooner to their existing employers or find new employment opportunities when occupational changes are required. Our client has an exciting opportunity for an entrepreneurial minded insurance professional to create and grow a new Life & Disability practice within the organization. The Life & Disability Practice Leader will report to the company’s CEO and be responsible for business development activities, product development, account management, customer support/satisfaction and business line profitability.
Life & Disability Practice Leader Responsibilities:
- Developing Business Development Strategies for the Life Waiver Product and Service Business Models for Carrier and TPA prospective and current customers
- Managing Day-to-Day Operations of the Life Waiver Business Unit Including Profit/Loss Responsibilities
- Developing & Maintaining Close Customer Relationships, Articulating Customer Needs and Keeping Priorities in Focus With the Desires and Expectations of the Customer
Life & Disability Practice Leader Requirements:
- 3-5 years of Life Waiver Claims Experience
- Previous P&L experience ideal but not required.
- Physical Capabilities and/or Restrictions and Limitation Knowledge
- Web Based Software Product Knowledge
- Excellent Analytical, Problem Solving and Communication Skills
- Collaborative Management Style
- College Degree
- Excellent oral, written and presentation skills
- Comfortable with use of web applications & desktop products (i.e. Microsoft Office, CRM’s, etc.)
- Superior analytical and interpretive skills
