Our client is a large regional agency in the greater Boston area that is actively seeking a Commercial Lines Manager to oversee their service staff and operations. This is a critical leadership role as you will develop, lead, and manage the service team to ensure client satisfaction and retention while meeting the agency’s overall goals and objectives.
Commercial Lines Manager Responsibilities:
- Lead the recruiting, training, hiring, and firing of client service staff.
- Mandate that the agency’s best practices platform is fully implemented and closely followed to provide consistency of service, be in compliance, and avoid errors and omissions.
- Manage workflow activity, ensure an effective flow of communication and serve as a bridge with the sales and executive teams to make sure the needs of this department are being met.
- Assist in the resolution of escalated customer service, marketing, or claims issues.
- Act as a liaison with the I.T. department to ensure workflow is consistent for their agency management system.
Commercial Lines Manager Requirements:
- 7-10 years of supervisory experience, preferably in a retail agency setting.
- Extensive technical knowledge of commercial lines P&C products and services a must.
- Professional designations such as CPCU, ARM, CISR, etc. preferred.
