My client is one of the nation’s leading financial service providers. Their family of companies specializes in property and casualty insurance. They rank in the top 25 personal lines property/casualty writers and are rated A- (Excellent) by A.M. Best. They presently offer an opportunity to assist on a contract basis with their Product department. Expected contract duration is 6 months. The assignment only requires the person to be on site for the duration of the actual assignment, actual relocation is not required.
Contract Employee Product Analyst Responsibilities:
- Rate making/rate changes.
- Competitor analysis.
- Contract/forms revisions.
- Filing support.
Contract Employee Product Analyst Requirements:
- Several years Personal Lines experience as a Product Manager, Product Analyst, Pricing Analyst, Actuary, or the equivalent.
- Strong computer spreadsheet and database skills: Access, Excel, and FoxPro.
- Current personal lines property or auto insurance experience.
- Strategic analysis, pricing or product planning experience a plus.
- Working knowledge of fundamental statistical and actuarial process.
- Must be able to demonstrate thorough knowledge of rate making techniques.
- On the job experience analyzing data and developing strategic recommendations.
