Our client is a large independent insurance agency with a unique client service opportunity. This position will work on the agency’s franchise book is requires a very organized and customer service oriented individual to work directly with business owners on a variety of coverage lines.
Commercial Lines Account Manager Responsibilities:
- Handle marketing for renewals which includes gathering account information, reviewing claims history, conducting online rating and negotiating with underwriters.
- Participate in all aspects of the policy administration process- putting together proposals, policy checking, issuing certificates and id cards, answering billing questions and requesting endorsements.
Commercial Lines Account Manager Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree is highly preferred; commensurate experience will be considered.
- Active state insurance license.
- About 2-3 years of client service experience as a Customer Service Representative or Account Manager.
- Experience with package policies involving work comp, property, general liability and commercial auto coverage.
