Private Client Personal Lines Account Manager-Washington, D.C.

Our client is a reputable insurance agency with a highly specialized private client group platform. The organization works very hard to integrate each team member into every facet of the sales and service process.  Each person is accountable to the client whether it be consulting on policy provisions and discussing renewals to simply providing timely feedback on policy questions.  The firm’s D.C. office is experiencing terrific growth and has an opportunity for a client service professional with existing high net worth personal lines career experience.

Private Client Personal Lines Account Manager Responsibilities:
  • Take charge of aspects of the renewal process including client review meetings, submission compilation and marketing negotiation with carriers.
  • Perform policy administration including endorsements and/or other policy changes, certificates and assist with gathering renewal information.
  • Manage all policy billing including cancellations, renewals and any applicable payment scheduling or financing.
  • Take control of escalated customer service or claims issues.

Private Client Personal Lines Account Manager Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree is required.
  • At least three (3) years of insurance experience in a client service or sales role within an larger insurance brokerage’s high net worth personal lines division.
  • Prior client relationship management/interaction or involvement in the complete sales and service process is required.
  • Experience handling policies and working with underwriters from the major high net worth carriers (Ace, Chubb, Fireman’s Fund and Chartis)
