Commercial Insurance Account Assistant - Nashville, TN

Account Manager and Customer Service Representative are the most common titles used within insurance agencies to define the separation of duties between policy administration and book of business management.  This position, Commercial Insurance Account Assistant, is a blend of the two largely because the agency wants to evolve the role from purely administration into also handling a lot of the small business accounts and supporting marketing on middle market cases.  You will be exposed to a wide variety of industries and asked work alongside a very accomplished producer and account executive team.  You'll be able to learn and grow in your role as well as take on a lot of client management responsibilities.      

Commercial Insurance Account Assistant Responsibilities
Assist with managing the delivery of services in a timely and efficient manner.  This includes following up on questions from the insured about policy changes, billing, claims, certificates and other general processing.
Take over a large portion of the renewal process for small business accounts- information gathering and updating, marketing, online rating, preparing cover letters about pricing and binding.
Work closely with the Account Executive on middle market accounts.  Put submissions together, provide status reports and help prepare presentation slides.
Commercial Insurance Account Assistant Requirements
At least three (3) years of commercial property and casualty insurance experience at an insurance agency in a customer service representative, assistant account management or account management capacity.
State insurance license.
Broad proficiency with P&C policies like general liability, property, auto and workers compensation is required. 
Experience with billing, customer service calls, policy review, and renewal marketing.

Commercial Lines Account Manager - Austin, TX

The Commercial Lines Account Manager role works in concert with the rest of agency's account managers to provide critical policy administration and marketing support to the agency's property and casualty division.  The agency is a large regional firm with a growing Austin office that has a group of very skilled, professional and knowledgeable account managers who take on managing all aspects of new business and renewal accounts.  The agency is open to considering varying degrees of experience in the role ranging from someone with a few years who wants to learn and be groomed to handle more than just administrative duties to someone who is an accomplished client manager who can handle all the tactical components of a book of business as the main point of contact. 


Commercial Lines Account Manager Responsibilities
Support all the client management initiatives within the agency and assist the other team members with a variety of marketing, policy maintenance and fact finding items all related to helping address client requests in a timely manner. 

Help prepare renewals including information gathering, updating applications and loss information, preparing submissions and obtaining online quotes.  Also work with underwriters and brokers to collect additional information needed to secure proposals.  Transition the account as a new client by issuing binders, certificates and invoicing.   Enter all appropriate information into the agency' smanagement system using AMS360 and ImageRight. 

Commercial Lines Account Manager Requirements
State insurance license is required.
At least three (3) years of commercial insurance experience performing policy management and client management duties. Highly desired candidates have worked for an independent insurance agency.

Very organized and professional. Can manage a large case of open projects at once. 
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. 

Strong orientation to customer service duties with a desire to grow in your account management career with continued involvement in direct client interaction and handle consulting on coverage and managing the renewal process.

Commercial Lines Customer Service Representative Responsibilities:
  • You’ll assist the sales executive in marketing and servicing a book of business.

Commercial Lines Account Manager-Memphis, TN

Our client is a large independent insurance agency with a unique client service opportunity.  This position will work on the agency’s franchise book is requires a very organized and customer service oriented individual to work directly with business owners on a variety of coverage lines.
Commercial Lines Account Manager Responsibilities:
  • Handle marketing for renewals which includes gathering account information, reviewing claims history, conducting online rating and negotiating with underwriters.
  • Participate in all aspects of the policy administration process- putting together proposals, policy checking, issuing certificates and id cards, answering billing questions and requesting endorsements.

Commercial Lines Account Manager Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree is highly preferred; commensurate experience will be considered.
  • Active state insurance license.

Life Insurance Customer Service Representative-The Villages, FL

Our client is an independent insurance agency that is seeking an experienced insurance professional to assist with the policy administration of its life products.

Life Insurance Customer Service Representative Responsibilities:
  • Assist insureds with questions related to policies, renewals and billing.  Answer incoming calls, provide timely feedback and get agents involved on escalated, complex matters.
  • Handle policy management including review of forms, endorsements and any claims information.  Also follow up on marketing and underwriting information. Finally, put together proposals.

Life Insurance Customer Service Representative Requirements:
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in an insurance administrative/support role.
  • Must have knowledge of all the following products: life insurance, annuities and long term care.
  • State insurance license.

Personal Lines Customer Service Representative-The Villages, FL
