They currently offer an opportunity to join their organization in a newly created Senior Underwriting position.
Senior Accident & Health Underwriter Responsibilities:
- All aspects of underwriting of Health and Accident Insurance.
- Develop underwriting standards and procedures.
- Analyze claims and pricing information for both new and renewal business.
- Propose rate actions for various customers and products.
- Oversee underwriting staff and processes.
Senior Accident & Health Underwriter Requirements:
- College degree and 5+ years of underwriting experience preferably in the A&H insurance business. Good mathematical and computer abilities and full knowledge of rating principles.
- Strong knowledge of insurance legislation.
- Willingness to be hands-on is required, prior supervisory experience is a plus.
- Strong communicator and be responsive and able to adhere to strict deadlines.
