Accident & Health Product Analyst-Princeton, NJ

My client offers a portfolio of distinctive specialty products. They provide Accident & Health coverages and other customized insurance solutions. Products are offered through distribution partners, which include wholesale brokers, retail brokers and designated managing general agents/underwriters (MGAs/MGUs) in the U.S. and abroad. Coverages are backed by the financial strength and security of the my client companies, rated “A+” (Superior) by A.M. Best.  They currently offer an opportunity to join their organization in their New Jersey location.  In this role, Accident & Health Product Analyst, you will assist the department in the development and implementation of A&H products and in the effort to ensure products comply with state rules and regulations.

 Accident & Health Product Analyst Responsibilities:
  • Participate in development/drafting process for A&H Products
  • Ability to assist in Full Product Cycle Implementation
  • Creation of underwriting rules/manuals, proposal output, work with sales and marketing on collateral
  • Ability to submit countrywide filing projects to state insurance departments via SERFF
  • Ability to perform regulatory research and to analyze research as it applies to products and business units
  • Ability to provide regulatory and compliance support
  • Track/submit annual filing requirement
  • Participate in claims/complaint handling process
  • Review advertising for compliance with filing approvals and state/federal regulations

Accident & Health Product Analyst Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree and at least five years of prior experience in A&H product development
  • Excellent interpersonal relationship skills, including clear and effective communication skills
  • Excellent PC skills and knowledge of Microsoft product suite; familiarity with SERFF filing submission process

Life & Disability Practice Leader Requirements:
  • 3-5 years of Life Waiver Claims Experience
  • Previous P&L experience ideal but not required.
  • Physical Capabilities and/or Restrictions and Limitation Knowledge
  • Web Based Software Product Knowledge
  • Excellent Analytical, Problem Solving and Communication Skills
  • Collaborative Management Style
  • College Degree
  • Excellent oral, written and presentation skills
  • Comfortable with use of web applications & desktop products (i.e. Microsoft Office, CRM’s, etc.)

Life Waiver Product Manager-Bedminster, NJ

The Life Waiver Product Manager will report to the company’s CEO and be responsible for assisting in securing new Life Waiver business, product development and account management including customer support/satisfaction.

Life Waiver Product Manager Responsibilities:
  • Bringing additional waiver of life premium claims and operational expertise to the company
  • Supporting the sales staff in product demonstrations, presentations, discussions and communications with prospects and clients
  • Performing product management and process improvement functions to provide the development staff with high/detailed level  product improvement specifications

  • Disability knowledge from a physical capabilities and/or restrictions & limitations perspective
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving and communication skills
  • Excellent oral, written and presentation skills
  • Comfortable with use of web applications & desktop products (i.e. Microsoft Office, CRM’s, etc.)
  • College degree

For this role you could be located anywhere in Iowa, with central or western Iowa being the most ideal. Or you could be located in the Omaha, NE area as well. Loss Control Consultant Responsibilities:
  • Conduct Risk Control Surveys on construction jobsites or manufacturing facilities in order to identify and correct existing and potential safety hazards
  • Conduct safety training
  • Develop safety programs
  • Conduct accident investigations
  • Write articles for company publications
  • Evaluate potential clientele facilities and jobsites to determine if they meet risk management and safety requirements

Loss Control Consultant Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Safety, Hygiene, or Engineering
  • 3 or more years of professional safety experience or insurance industry experience in loss control
  • Strong knowledge of the Construction industry. Manufacturing Industry knowledge a plus.
  • Knowledge of the OSHA/MSHA/DOT Standards
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to conduct safety presentations to large and small audiences
  • Basic computer skills operating programs such as Word, Excel, and Power Point
