Sales Executive, Commercial Lines Or Employee Benefits-Fort Wayne, IN

Our client is a large regional insurance brokerage looking to expand in their Fort Wayne location. They seek motivated and successful candidates currently in a sales role for a retail agency. They have the resources and tools of a large, national firm with the ability to work creatively and aggressively to provide best of class service to their clients and prospects. They hope to add multiple new sales staff this year and are looking for true hunter types to go out in a new business development role to make their agency visible and well known.

Sales Executive, Commercial Lines or Employee Benefits Responsibilities:
  • Ability to create an aggressive business marketing plan to drive revenue in a 3-5 year period.
  • Ability to network at the C-level to determine the customer’s business needs and subsequent insurance requirements.
  • Cross-selling additional lines of coverage to round out accounts.
  • Up-sell and renew existing clients with additional products and services.

Sales Executive, Commercial Lines or Employee Benefits Requirements:
  • 5-7 years of experience working in an independent agency setting.
  • Ability to transfer existing book of business a plus — willing to purchase the book when possible.
  • Must possess applicable state insurance license, with additional professional designations a plus.
