Vice President Of Employee Benefits-Denver, CO

Our client is a large national agency looking to expand in their Denver office.  The ideal candidate is going to have the ability to produce bottom line revenue to help build the revenue base, along with cross selling with other departments to maximize referral sources.  This is a great opportunity for a sales-minded candidate who can really close a deal when presented with a warm lead.  Strong technical expertise is also a must.

Vice President of Employee Benefits Responsibilities:
  • Ability to create an aggressive business marketing plan to drive revenue in a 3-5 year period.
  • Ability to network at the C-level to determine the customer’s business needs and subsequent insurance requirements.
  • Cross-selling additional lines of coverage to round out accounts.
  • Up-sell and renew existing clients with additional products and services.

Vice President of Employee Benefits Requirements:
  • 8-10 years of experience working in an independent agency or applicable direct marketing.
  • Past experience working with larger self-funded accounts a huge plus.
  • Must possess applicable state insurance license, with additional professional designations a plus.
