Sales Executive, Commercial Lines Or Employee Benefits-Fort Wayne, IN

Our client is a large regional insurance brokerage looking to expand in their Fort Wayne location. They seek motivated and successful candidates currently in a sales role for a retail agency. They have the resources and tools of a large, national firm with the ability to work creatively and aggressively to provide best of class service to their clients and prospects. They hope to add multiple new sales staff this year and are looking for true hunter types to go out in a new business development role to make their agency visible and well known.

Sales Executive, Commercial Lines or Employee Benefits Responsibilities:
  • Ability to create an aggressive business marketing plan to drive revenue in a 3-5 year period.
  • Ability to network at the C-level to determine the customer’s business needs and subsequent insurance requirements.
  • Cross-selling additional lines of coverage to round out accounts.
  • Up-sell and renew existing clients with additional products and services.

Sales Executive, Commercial Lines or Employee Benefits Requirements:
  • 5-7 years of experience working in an independent agency setting.
  • Ability to transfer existing book of business a plus — willing to purchase the book when possible.
  • Must possess applicable state insurance license, with additional professional designations a plus.

Commercial Lines Sales Executive-San Antonio, TX

Our client is a well-respected regional insurance agency that has been around for over fifty years. They are growing their practice in San Antonio, Austin, and Dallas and are looking for dynamic insurance professionals to join their team.

Sales Executive, Commercial Lines Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for driving new revenue by identifying, qualifying, developing, and closing new client opportunities.
  • Apply consultative solution-selling and problem solving skills to effectively position products and services to differentiate our client from its competitors.
  • Responsible for implementing effective service handoff to ensure service delivery and customer retention.
  • Use the agency-supported prospect management program to maintain accurate records of calling/selling activity and account profiles.
  • Provide reports of activities to the senior management team on a regular basis.
  • Conduct mid-year meetings with clients to educate, prepare for renewal, claims reviews, review stewardship report and service plan, etc.
  • Promote the agency and insurance industry in the community and cultivate relationships with potential referral sources.

Sales Executive, Commercial Lines Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • State Property & Casualty license required within 90 days of hire.
  • 3-5 years of sales experience, preferably in a retail agency setting.
  • Experience working in the construction niche a plus.

Sales Executive, High Net Worth Personal Lines-Denver, CO

The role of Sales Executive in this independent, Denver based agency will be to transform the agency’s personal lines department to one that develops business externally and with a focus on affluent clients.  To date the personal lines division only generates business through inside leads and cross selling. While this will remain a tool in your business development strategy, you will instead build a business plan to proactively source clients through third party referral streams and important insurance company contacts that focus in private client programs.

Sales Executive, High Net Worth Personal Lines Responsibilities:
  • Cultivate and qualify referrals, meet with prospective and current clients, complete applications and make sales presentations.
  • Market and place all new business as well as most renewals; utilize the support of account managers for daily policy administration and changes.
  • Build relationships with the agency’s commercial and benefits producers to cultivate internal cross selling leads on small business and personal lines accounts. Turn to external referral sources like financial and legal advisors the agency already insures on the commercial lines side for high net worth personal lines opportunities.
  • Remain informed of all claims and client service issues stepping in when necessary to help bring them to resolution.

Sales Executive, High Net Worth Personal Lines Requirements:
  • At least 2-3 years of insurance experience with some ties to either direct sales or high net worth personal lines. Examples of a transition into this newly created position could include experience as a producer handling different insurance products or in an account management or underwriting role exclusively focused on affluent personal lines.
  • State insurance license.
  • Consultative approach to sales; able to seek out and develop third party referral streams with underwriters, financial advisors, bankers, attorneys and accountants.
