Our client is a large regional insurance agency that is in immediate need of a Commercial Lines Account Manager. The ideal candidate will have experience working with larger real estate clients and preferably within an agency setting. It will also be critical that you possess the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and the flexibility to easily adapt to changing priorities.
Commercial Lines Account Manager Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the renewal of current client business by providing renewal notices to the team.
- Assist in the renewal process by preparing rough draft coverage summary, ordering loss information from the carrier, preparing premium summary as directed, processing and issuing renewal forms, requesting renewal quote from present carrier, updating and completing coverage, providing analysis for the department manager’s review, sending submissions to new markets, reviewing quotes and initial preparation of proposal, and processing renewed accounts.
- Participate in the new business marketing process as directed.
- Execute changes requested on policy and monitor for receipt of company endorsements, provides premium breakdowns, coordinates custom binding orders, and arranges loss run schedules for client.
- Responsible for resolution of account criticisms.
- Makes arrangements for client premium financing.
- Participates with producer in decision-making process on client credit balances over 90 days.
Commercial Lines Account Manager Requirements:
- Associate of Arts degree or equivalent education and/or experience, preferably in an agency setting.
- State P&C license required.
- Experience working with real estate accounts a huge plus.
