Commercial Lines Sales Executive-San Antonio, TX

Our client is a well-respected regional insurance agency that has been around for over fifty years. They are growing their practice in San Antonio, Austin, and Dallas and are looking for dynamic insurance professionals to join their team.

Sales Executive, Commercial Lines Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for driving new revenue by identifying, qualifying, developing, and closing new client opportunities.
  • Apply consultative solution-selling and problem solving skills to effectively position products and services to differentiate our client from its competitors.
  • Responsible for implementing effective service handoff to ensure service delivery and customer retention.
  • Use the agency-supported prospect management program to maintain accurate records of calling/selling activity and account profiles.
  • Provide reports of activities to the senior management team on a regular basis.
  • Conduct mid-year meetings with clients to educate, prepare for renewal, claims reviews, review stewardship report and service plan, etc.
  • Promote the agency and insurance industry in the community and cultivate relationships with potential referral sources.

Sales Executive, Commercial Lines Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • State Property & Casualty license required within 90 days of hire.
  • 3-5 years of sales experience, preferably in a retail agency setting.
  • Experience working in the construction niche a plus.
