Commercial Lines Account Manager-Minot, ND

Our client is a regional leader in Insurance Services in the upper Midwest.  They have 12 locations throughout ND and SD.  They offer a proven track record of high customer satisfaction and sustained sales growth.  Their focus is on Commercial and Farm/Crop Insurance. They currently have available an opportunity to join their organization as an Account Manager. This role is responsible for handling accounts alongside a producer by assisting in the acquisition and servicing of accounts.  The Account Manager has intimate knowledge of the account and maintains a working relationship with the client’s contacts.
Account Manager Responsibilities:
  • Assist Producer in selling new and servicing policies
  • Understand the accounts handled by the account team as to be able to deal with customer questions and concerns effectively
  • Organize and facilitate renewal process within assigned Sales Team
  • Assist producer in keeping prospect list current and ready for management review
  • Certificates of insurance and binders of insurance
  • Schedule presentation, delivery and renewal appointments for sales agent

Account Manager Requirements:
  • At least (3) three years of commercial lines agency account management experience.
  • Strong Knowledge of Microsoft Office and proficiency in AMS software.
  • Highly organized and possess excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to resolve problems with customers and insurance carriers.
