Commercial Lines Account Manager-Chicago, IL

This independent agency in Chicago is seeking a new Commercial Lines Account Manager to immediately provide policy administration support.  The agency has doubled in size over the past five years.  With this growth comes the need for an accomplished property and casualty technician to support the backroom servicing of accounts.

   
Commercial Lines Account Manager Responsibilities:

  • Assist the producer in managing existing clients, both cultivating relationships with insureds but also taking on most of the daily service requirements.
  • Gathering and analyzing information for renewals; complete applications, prepare submissions, handle online rating and prepare proposals. 
  • Promptly reply to insureds with coverage and billing questions; complete certificate requests; review client contracts.


Commercial Lines Account Manager Requirements:

  • At least two (2) years of property and casualty insurance experience in a customer service role. 
  • Strong attention to detail; highly organized; proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel and Word).

Commercial Lines Account Manager-Omaha, NE

As a Commercial Lines Account Manager for this independent agency in Omaha you'll work within a professional, sophisticated service team to support a client base that needs assistance with policy administration and renewal management.  The agency feels very strongly about career progression and wants to offer those opportunities for the person in his role.  To work your way up in the company you'll have to handle this existing book which means a combination of administrative duties like certificates and id cards as well as the consultative work such as renewal management and underwriting negotiations.


Commercial Lines Account Manager Responsibilities:

  • Assist the producer in managing existing clients, both cultivating relationships with insureds but also taking on most of the daily service requirements.
  • Manage the renewal process which includes gathering and analyzing claims and loss run information, preparing submissions, completing applications, obtaining quotes from underwriters and writing proposals.

  • Develop relationships with agency's staff and work closely with other sales and service teams to maximize opportunities to cross selling, upselling and referrals.



Commercial Lines Account Manager Requirements:

  • College degree is preferred; high school diploma is required.  Commensurate experience, continuing education or a professional designation will be considered in lieu of a college degree.
  • At least three (3) years of property and casualty insurance experience in a customer service role. 
  • Strong attention to detail; highly organized; proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel and Word).

Benefits Analyst-Dallas, TX

Our client is a well-respected national insurance agency that has multiple offices across the country. They currently have a need for an Employee Benefits Analyst in their office in the Dallas area.  In this role you will assist the internal account management team in servicing the consulting responsibilities for all employee benefits clients.

Benefits Analyst Responsibilities:
  • Oversee, coordinate, and execute the implementation of new and existing clients, specifically client financial reporting.
  • Prepare and submit client utilization and financial reporting to internal staff and to the client.
  • Prepare and manage process for RFPs for client benefit coverages.
  • Maintain and update client online benefit coverage profile.
  • Work with internal staff on marketing and renewal presentations.
  • Work with clients and markets to answer questions and resolve issues.
  • Confer with internal staff to identify, plan, and develop methods and procedures to obtain greater efficiency and effectiveness of benefit programs.
  • Review contracts, summary plan descriptions, and agreements for accuracy using checklists.
  • Work and assist team in compliance review, utilizing checklists provided.
  • Assist in the development of employee communications and onsite open enrollments.

Benefits Analyst Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
  • 2-3 years minimum in account management or analyst role in the insurance industry, preferably for an independent agency.
  • TX Life & Health license required.
  • Strong mathematical skills along with knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Senior Employee Benefits Account Manager-Manhattan, NY

Our client is a privately held independent agency in New York that has been in business for over 100 years. They are a full service brokerage firm with an immediate need for a seasoned Employee Benefits Account Manager to join their team. The idea candidate is going to be someone with in-depth knowledge of group medical, and preferably within the private school niche. This individual will be communicating with a very business savvy point of contact with the client and will need to be extremely polished and knowledgeable regarding all aspects of healthcare reform.
Senior Account Manager, Employee Benefits Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for providing complete management of existing business with the goal of account retention and identifying new business opportunities within specific accounts.
  •  Responsible for successful renewals, implementation of additional lines of coverage, continual referrals, and developing exceptional long term relationships.
  •  Manage renewal process to include strategic analysis of plan design with recommendations for renewal, analysis of network options, complete marketing analysis, analysis of claim experience, contribution analysis, benchmarking analysis, prepare communications and proposals, and conduct enrollment meetings.
  •  Manage the yearly client deliverables calendar.
  •  Review and maintain contract documentations (SPDs, certificates, etc.).
  •  Keep clients advised on regulatory issues.
  •  Effectively communicate with management the daily events/issues that may materially impact the client, in person and by utilizing TAM notes, attachments, and activities.

Senior Account Manager, Employee Benefits Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 5-10 years of industry experience, preferably within a brokerage environment.
  • Experience working with private school districts a huge plus.
  • Additional professional designations (i.e. RHU, REBC, CEBS) preferred.
