Sales Executive, Commercial Lines Or Employee Benefits-St. Louis, MO

Our client is a large, regional insurance brokerage looking to expand in their St. Louis location. They seek motivated and successful candidates currently in a sales role for a retail agency or large national consulting house. They are in a growth mode and seeking entrepreneurial minded individuals to come with a vision for developing new business in a non-traditional manner to maximize effectiveness and revenue generation. They offer competitive splits, world class tools and resources, and the opportunity to manage the P&L on your block of business for maximum profitability.

Sales Executive, Commercial Lines or Employee Benefits Responsibilities:
  • Ability to create an aggressive business marketing plan to drive revenue in a 3-5 year period.
  • Ability to network at the C-level to determine the customer’s business needs and subsequent insurance requirements.
  • Cross-selling additional lines of coverage to round out accounts.
  • Up-sell and renew existing clients with additional products and services.

Sales Executive, Commercial Lines or Employee Benefits Requirements:
  • 5-7 years of experience working in an independent agency or large national consulting firm.
  • Ability to transfer existing book of business a plus — willing to purchase the book when possible.
  • Must possess applicable state insurance license, with additional professional designations a plus.
