Our client is a large regional agency that is looking to expand in their St. Louis office. They are seeking a dynamic individual to be a Commercial Lines Account Executive. The ideal candidate will have in-depth technical industry experience, along with sales acumen and the ability to sit in front of C-level contacts at prospects and clients to help close deals.
Commercial Lines Account Executive Responsibilities:
- Provide support and guidance in the handling of new and renewal business to further enable the sales team to develop new business sales and enhance existing client relationships.
- Solidify client relationships by providing exceptional customer service, maintaining and expanding current accounts, and developing relationships with carriers and external vendors.
- Show ability to work independently and with little supervision to carry out all job duties.
- Attend and participate in carrier meetings and presentations when applicable.
- Perform competent financial analysis including understanding of income statements, balance sheets, P&L statements, S&P and Moody ratings.
- Provide coverage analysis with the ability to identify and understand the differences in indemnity agreements, service agreements, and carrier contract policy wording to client exposures.
Commercial Lines Account Executive Requirements:
- 5-7 years of industry experience, preferably in a retail agency setting.
- State insurance license needed with additional professional designations a huge plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with exposure to large, complex risks.
