Our client is a large regional agency who is growing and currently looking for a commercial lines Bond Account Manager in their Dallas area office. They are seeking a dynamic individual who will bring high energy, good work ethic, and an entrepreneurial spirit to the position, along with strong technical skills and past agency experience focused on commercial lines risks.
Bond Account Manager Responsibilities:
- Collect necessary information and execute bonds in an error-free and timely manner – authority to issue bonds must be received from proper authority.
- Invoice transactions and properly report bonds.
- Process renewals in a timely manner.
- Maintain account-related files and prepare necessary paperwork, including setup, filing, and purging of information.
- Request, follow up, and process various underwriting documents.
- Cancel/close bonds within authority and update computer.
- Assist in the cross-sell and round out of accounts by offering advice about existing products and promoting value-added services.
- Answer client calls concerning all service issues and product queries from clients quickly, efficiently, and accurately.
Bond Account Manager Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
- 3-5 years of Surety Bond experience, preferably in construction.
- Intermediate to advanced level of Microsoft Office Suite.
- State P&C license required.
