Our client is a top ten national insurance brokerage looking to add to their growing teams in Louisiana and Mississippi.  They are seeking Employee Benefits Producers that are looking for an opportunity to take their career to the next level calling on Fortune 1000 companies.  Their vast internal resources position them as a leader in the market and provide unlimited earning potential for aggressive sales-minded individuals with a track record of success.  The ideal candidate will have had strong sales success in the near past and can infuse a spirit of strong growth and motivate the other producers in the office to take their own sales success to the next level.

Employee Benefits Producer Responsibilities:
  • Ability to create an aggressive business marketing plan to drive revenue in a 3-5 year period.
  • Ability to network at the C-level to determine the customer’s business needs and subsequent insurance requirements.
  • Cross-selling additional lines of group insurance coverage to round out accounts.
  • Up-sell and renew existing clients with additional products and services.

Employee Benefits Producer Requirements:
  • 5-7 years of experience working in an independent agency setting.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Ability to transfer existing book of business a plus — willing to purchase the book when possible.
  • Must possess applicable state insurance license, with additional professional designations a plus.
