Medical Malpractice Sales Representative - Chicago ,IL

We are looking for a dynamic sales-oriented Producer to join a team in Chicago for a company that specializes in medical malpractice in the state of Illinois.  You will assist in day-to-day administration of the company's business development, marketing, and sales programs in accordance with the policies and goals established by management.  Along with the VP of Sales you will contribute to the development of the company's strategic plan.



Commercial Lines Producer, Medical Malpractice Responsibilities

Assess risk and conduct field underwriting with prospects and clients.

Participate in the renewal process on the existing book of business.

Make sales calls for prospective clients.

Promote and encourage innovation in processes, procedures, products, and services in the organization.

Responsible for directing research and analysis of business opportunities, assessing potential markets, competitor insurance programs, consumer research, and other marketing opportunities.

Building and maintaining successful relationships with key insureds, medical societies, medical group manager associations and other industry organizations in all target markets.

Commercial Lines Producer, Medical Malpractice Requirements

Bachelor's degree preferred or applicable industry experience.

3-5 years experience working with professional liability products such as medical malpractice.

Commercial Lines Territory Marketing Account Executive (Carrier Rep) in Indianapolis, In

Specifically the company’s programs are designed to provide physicians, clinics, hospitals and healthcare systems with medical professional liability products in partnership with retail insurance brokers; in this case in the state of Indiana. This position, Territory Marketing Account Executive, is an opportunity for you to develop the insurance company’s brand within a defined region that has experienced success yet has many untapped opportunities to be discovered. Territory Marketing Account Executive Responsibilities:

Territory Marketing Account Executive Qualifications:

  • State insurance license.

Medical Malpractice Sales Producer - Statewide Texas


Our client is a medical malpractice insurer in the process of expanding its sales force in Georgia and Florida. With established success in markets like Tampa, Jacksonville and Atlanta, these positions will translate the company’s sales platform into new areas that have similar growth opportunities.  In these two markets, Atlanta and Tallahassee, you’ll be responsible for serving as an insurance agent who works directly with physicians on securing competitive medical malpractice insurance and effectively manage risk exposures.
Medical Malpractice Insurance Producer Responsibilities
  • Execute a sales and marketing strategy in your designated territory; you are responsible for making cold calls to prospective clients (which are physicians) and once the account becomes a client you will also provide ongoing consultation and service as their agent and primary point of contact.
  • Responsible for building sales presentations, preparing proposals and facilitating the onboarding process with the internal service team of account managers.
  • Represent the company at industry events and trade associations; develop expertise in medical malpractice regulations and trends; work closely with third party vendors particularly in securing endorsements and identifying cross selling opportunities.
Medical Malpractice Insurance Producer Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree is highly preferred; commensurate experience will be considered.
  • Approximately 2-5 years of property and casualty insurance experience in one of the following disciplines:
    1.  Either as an independent commercial lines producer seeking a specialization like medical malpractice, or
    2.  As a current medical malpractice specialist working in production or account management for an agency or wholesale broker.
  • Can work under minimal sales supervision.
  • Some overnight travel is required.

Our client is a medical malpractice insurer with an exciting opportunity in a newly created position.  This role, Business Development Sales Executive, will help the company break into a new distribution model in the Atlanta area.  As the agent you'll be responsible for growing new business revenue in the Georgia physician market.


Business Development Sales Executive Responsibilities
Execute strategy to sell medical malpractice insurance to medical practices and individual physicians; generate sales leads, respond to inquiries and close business
Make sales and marketing presentations
Build and manage relationships at all levels of the customer organization including the office manager and physicians in each medical practice
Represent the company at association events, seminars and trade shows

Commercial Lines Account Manager 
Our client is an independent agency based in Chicago with a very successful professional liability practice. This position, Commercial Account Executive, is designed to be the front line client manager for an existing book of healthcare accounts.  Specifically, you'll advise physicians and medical facilities on the appropriateness of insurance coverage and provide advocacy in the often litigious world of medical malpractice.  This is a relationship driven role which will strategize and manage many of the agency's smaller legacy accounts.  It’s an exciting position created out of the agency's continued growth and its desire to provide a deeper level of ongoing customer service.  

Commercial Account Executive Responsibilities:
Act as a leader within the agency's client service team and work closely with the CSRs.
Create and implement written service timelines which will set renewal deadlines and mid-year client visits that you will conduct instead of the producer.
Organize the agency's ongoing communication with insureds concerning policy review and changes as well as legal and compliance updates concerning medical malpractice and healthcare.

Commercial Account Executive Qualifications:
At least five (5) years of property and casualty account management experience; prior work with professional liability accounts (non-medical and medical malpractice) will be considered and is strongly preferred.
Comfortable in a lead client manager role; able to set and execute plans for quarterly client visits and facilitate the renewal process.
Present proposals in front of clients discussing coverage and pricing changes; pay particular attention to addressing renewals and the insured's satisfaction with the agency's performance.
