Senior Commercial Insurance Account Manager, Middle Market Responsibilities
- Handle existing property and casualty accounts with coverage written through multiple carriers that require balancing different renewal periods, financial matters (billing and claims), adjustments to the account (additions, cancellations, contract reviews) and renewal preparation.
- With renewals you're responsible for gathering and verifying information necessary for submissions and applications; you'll work with the producer to address concerns over loss history, coverage values and program requests from the insured. Once renewed you'll ensure the new policies are accurately bound and work with the CSR team on finalizing policy and certificate paperwork.
- Communicate regularly with insureds and get back on questions in a timely manner to ensure the agency's high standards of customer service are being met. Provide insight, and with the producer, recommendation on coverage enhancements as the insured's business exposures change throughout the year. This is also a great way to support the agency's new business sales goals for the year.
Senior Commercial Insurance Account Manager, Middle Market Requirements
- A minimum of five (5) year of career experience with an insurance agency handling $10k-$20k commission accounts on average. These accounts have coverage and marketing complexities and are not main street, package policies.
- Comfortable in a lead role where you can provide guidance and training to other account managers. Be the go to person to unusual cases or escalated issues. Support the producer's efforts new business efforts by freeing up their time getting involved in policy or customer service issues.
- State insurance license. Continuing education achievements are desired.
