Our client is a large independent insurance agency looking to expand in its Austin office. They are especially looking to grow their group insurance division and are seeking a dynamic individual to join their team as an Employee Benefits Producer. They are big enough to provide cutting edge products and services to clients and prospects, but have an entrepreneurial atmosphere to really foster new ideas and aggressive growth. The ideal candidate is going to have a hunter mentality and ability to embrace change to provide a high level of consultation to key clients and prospects.
Employee Benefits Producer Responsibilities
- Ability to create an aggressive business marketing plan to drive revenue in a 3-5 year period.
- Ability to network at the C-level to determine the customer’s business needs and subsequent insurance requirements.
- Cross-selling additional lines of coverage to round out accounts.
- Up-sell and renew existing clients with additional products and services.
Employee Benefits Producer Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience working in an independent agency setting.
- Transferable book of business highly desirable.
- Must possess applicable state insurance license, with additional professional designations a plus.
