Our client is a well-respected regional insurance brokerage on the western slope looking to add an employee benefits producer to their existing sales staff. This is a fantastic opportunity to come into a well-respected and existing book of business. The ideal candidate will be motivated to help grow the existing book, provide insight and guidance with health care reform, and work with the internal staff to renew all existing clients.
Employee Benefits Producer Responsibilities:
- Ability to create an aggressive business marketing plan to drive revenue in a 3-5 year period.
- Ability to network at the C-level to determine the customer’s business needs and subsequent insurance requirements.
- Cross-selling additional lines of coverage to round out accounts.
- Up-sell and renew existing clients with additional products and services.
Employee Benefits Producer Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 5-7 years of sales experience working preferably in an independent agency.
- Must possess applicable state insurance license, with additional professional designations a plus.
