Group Employee Benefits Client Manager Responsibilities:
- Serve as a strong internal resource to the sales executives who will rely on you for information pertaining to specific policies and programs, market options, pricing plans and status updates on projects.
- Work into the details of your clients' plans with full understanding of group medical and ancillary programs, coverage gaps and challenges facing the renewal and RFP process.
- Coordinate marketing efforts with your client management colleagues in Chicago and other locations to manage workloads, vendor relationships and mentorship of junior associates.
Group Employee Benefits Client Manager Requirements:
- At least four (4) years of retail agency experience in a similar account management role; more is desirable as the company has a very active workload of self-funded accounts. An individual with senior account management experience in plan design, underwriting calculations, rate structures, funding alternatives and compliance can be a great match for this role.
- The agency offers career advancement to its successful employees and therefore looks for a similar track record of upward mobility, continuing education, and advancement from applicants.
