Our client is a leading independent agency in the San Antonio and is poised for growth in the new year. They are seeking a dynamic individual to join their sales team to focus on small business accounts. You must possess excellent communication skills and able to develop business from scratch.
Commercial Lines Producer, Small Business Responsibilities:
- Responsible for driving new revenue by identifying, qualifying, developing, and closing new client opportunities.
- Apply consultative solution-selling and problem solving skills to effectively position products and services to differentiate our client from its competitors.
- Responsible for implementing effective service handoff to ensure service delivery and customer retention.
- Use the agency-supported prospect management program to maintain accurate records of calling/selling activity and account profiles.
- Provide reports of activities to the senior management team on a regular basis.
- Conduct mid-year meetings with clients to educate, prepare for renewal, claims reviews, review stewardship report and service plan, etc.
- Promote the agency and insurance industry in the community and cultivate relationships with potential referral sources.
Commercial Lines Producer, Small Business Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- State Property & Casualty license required within 90 days of hire.
- 3-5 years of sales experience, preferably in a retail agency setting.
- Experience working in the construction niche a plus.
