This is an insurance sales position with an independent, full service agency with a desire to grow through the addition of a new producer who offers enough industry sales experience and training to know this is the career for them. The senior producers are very willing to provide guidance and mentorship as you build a book of business with this firm. You’ll concentrate on middle market accounts, typical industrial or service related, in the greater Chicago area as well as in-state and surrounding parts of the Midwest.
Commercial Insurance Producer Requirements:
- To be considered for this role you must offer at least three (3) years of property and casualty sales experience with an insurance agency. You have had success with a sales process where you’re required to develop a prospect plan, participate in the marketing and RFP process and also remain closely linked to your clients throughout the year regarding service and program consultation.
- State insurance license.
Compensation includes a guaranteed salary plus variable commission based on new business sales. The agency also provides expense reimbursement.
