Commercial Lines Manager - Fayetteville or Fort Smith, AR

The Commercial Lines Manager is a critical role that's responsible for a number of operational and Human Resources related duties within this insurance agency.  You'll oversee three service units within three separate offices which requires excellent organizational and collaboration skills.   Your goal is to provide leadership to the client management teams, serve as a liaison with the sales and executive leaders and create synergy with the agency's other groups to ensure a high level of client retention, profitability and efficiency.

Commercial Lines Manager Responsibilities
Under the header of client service, you'll oversee the performance of your staff on account management processes and get involved in escalated client service issues. Work with the producers on expectations for certain accounts, reinforce department procedures, schedule client meetings, assign points of contact and follow up on requested items from clients and review marketing summaries and checklists.
Within the scope of marketing, you'll participate in building wholesale and carrier relationships, review vendor agreements, market specific new and renewal cases as needed, train client managers on online rating software and work with the producers on expiration lists to get the renewal process started.  Organize company contracts and licensing.
As a manager, you're responsible Human Resources related functions such as hiring, performance management, training and employee development of client service staff.  You'll establish policies and procedures for maximizing efficiencies within the agency's management system. You'll make sure close communication is established between the commercial lines, small business and marketing departments so there is consistency in the workflows.  Assist with the budgeting process including running reports, organizing departmental data, compliance, audits, quality control and peer reviews.
Commercial Lines Manager Requirements
At least 7-10 years of property and casualty career experience within an agency with a strong background in account management and client deliverables. Prior management and/or supervisory experience is required.
Must also have experience with addressing policy and procedures including oversight of efficiencies, allocating workloads and managing customer service staff.

Prior training experience along with organizational experience- aligning teams, building strong alliances and handling performance management issues.  Also comfortable with working through transitions into the agency such as integrating new acquisitions and office build outs.

Personal Lines Business Development Specialist - Denver, CO

This Personal Lines Business Development role is a tremendous opportunity for an experienced private client insurance professional to take control of and transform an existing practice for a strong regional agency in Denver.  High net worth personal lines has long been a part of the agency's business model however its been more on the sidelines as a complimentary service offering for internal referrals versus a strong external revenue driver.  That will change with this someone taking the reigns in this business development position.  The ideal candidate has deep experience in client management, preferably at the Account Executive level, but desire more influence in strategic design, higher earnings through commission and external sales responsibilities.  You'll be supported in your service efforts with a dedicated, tenured account manager at your side.  You'll be supported in your business development efforts with several existing referral relationships through private bankers and wealth advisors. 

Personal Lines Business Development, Account Executive Responsibilities
Able to cultivate, qualify and onboard new clients with a hand in the complete sales cycle.  This includes your ability to create and execute a marketing strategy to get in front of new clients through your marketing efforts with personal and private bankers, wealth advisors and other producers within the agency.
Be the face of the Private Client Division to the Big Four insurance companies- Ace, Chubb, Fireman's Fund and AIG- working with them on program design, rating and policy changes and customer management strategies.
Serve as the primary technical resource on products and programs unique to affluent personal lines.
Personal Lines Business Development, Account Executive Requirements:
At least five (5) years of dedicated experience in sales, marketing and client management within high net worth personal lines.  Established relationships with underwriters and a solid understanding of pricing and coverage nuances for high net worth personal lines programs.  
State insurance license.
Consultative approach to sales; able to seek out and develop third party referral streams with underwriters, financial advisors, bankers, attorneys and accountants. 

Comfortable working under new business sales goals. Must be able to balance client consulting after the point fo sale with continuing to seek out new account opportunities.

Commercial Lines Account Manager - Dallas, TX

The role of Commercial Insurance Account Manager for this large, regional agency is to support the client administration, marketing and retention as the Dallas office gets up and running.  A newly formed team, the group is dynamic with a strong middle market platform, so you'll be asked to play a big part in how the agency can support onboarding new accounts, handling complex risks and implementing key workflow procedures that are in line with the rest of the agency's offices. 

Commercial Insurance Account Manager Responsibilities
Establish solid client relationships and manage the delivery of services along with answering questions from clients about coverage, billing and endorsements.
Identify important client needs as well as cross selling opportunities and effectively communicate those needs to the sales team.
Coordinate the renewal activity of client accounts like information gathering, rate, pricing negotiations, proposal writing and communications.
Commercial Insurance Account Manager Requirements
At least 4-5 years of commercial property and casualty insurance experience in an account management capacity. 
Broad proficiency with P&C policies like general liability, property, auto and workers compensation is required. 
Experienced with handling all the tactical, client interfacing work on supporting a book of business (renewal meetings, coverage reviews, marketing and claims assistance) with service administration (billing, certificates, binders and so on).

Employee Benefits Account Executive - Kansas City, MO

This Employee Benefits Account Executive position is a newly created role and could also also be described as a Servicing Producer or Benefits Consultant.  This signals the insurance brokerage's desire to pair a very strong group employee benefits technician alongside a high performing producer to support the strategic and tactical needs of group clients.  Your influence in the team will be a great support system for handling direct client consulting on plan design, rates, renewal preparation, billing, claims and enrollments.  You'll coordinate internal resources to handle the delivery of services to the client.  Ideally you'd also be comfortable picking up new clients through personal business development. 



Group Employee Benefits Account Executive Responsibilities:
Coordinate, develop and execute project plans as well as periodic presentations for specific client groups.
Develop and manage long and short range benefit strategies for clients, foster strong client relationships.
Develop and mentor junior members of the team.
Manage RFP, renewal, and implementation processes.
Benchmark survey data for client plans, summarize and validate reviewed information.
Develop and maintain strong vendor relationships.
Identify and understand negotiable elements of underwriting calculations for all lines of coverage. Exercise peer group and/or management review in this process periodically.
Manage post-implementation process for all lines of coverage.
Contribute toward company sales initiatives and support revenue management.

Group Employee Benefits Account Executive Qualifications:
At least 5-7 years of experience working with group employee benefits cases, preferably in the mid-sized group space but definitely with a firm grasp on self-funding and compliance reform.   

Must offer detailed agency/brokerage experience with a thorough understanding of all benefit plans (medical, dental, life, STD, LTD, etc) design, rate structures, funding alternatives and compliance requirements.
Excellent communication and presentation with advanced writing skills.
Proficient in all areas of Health & Welfare compliance (i.e. HIPAA, FMLA, COBRA, 5500, DOL, etc).
Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with all levels of internal staff & management, external clients, prospects and vendors; leadership and mentorship qualities.


Open to business development responsibilities either through new account origination or upselling, cross selling and account rounding depending on your strengths.

Commercial Lines Account Manager - remote opportunity in the Mountain or Pacific Time Zones

My client is a small specialty P&C broker that is dedicated to providing insurance and risk control solutions to environmental service firms and related construction and engineering companies. They have an immediate need for someone who is dedicated to the P&C insurance industry with at a minimum of 5 years in the business.  They are willing and able to accommodate a remote location. Located in the Mountain or Pacific time zone.  Ideal locations are Denver, Los Angeles or San Francisco.



Commercial Lines Account Manager Responsibilities
Prepare new client submissions for carriers.
Coordinate the development and maintain individual client service schedules in the agency management system and ensure delivery of value-added services.
Maintain client data integrity through regular maintenance and oversight of updates of applications, schedules.
Review company audits for accuracy, invoice and follow up on additional premiums as required.
Prepare renewal marketing submissions.
Evaluate loss analysis and ensure accuracy prior to submittal on new or renewal business.
Assist in the cross-sell and rounding out of accounts.

Commercial Lines Account Manager Requirements
5 years in the insurance business and familiar with commercial property and casualty coverage. 
Currently licensed as a P&C agent / broker in prospective employees resident state.
Willing and able to take the lead in taking over and managing service desk.  This will eventually mean oversight of others but in the short term will involve doing just about everything in the area of service that the clients need.  
Familiarity with Applied Systems a plus but not mandatory.

Commercial Insurance Account Assistant - Nashville, TN

Account Manager and Customer Service Representative are the most common titles used within insurance agencies to define the separation of duties between policy administration and book of business management.  This position, Commercial Insurance Account Assistant, is a blend of the two largely because the agency wants to evolve the role from purely administration into also handling a lot of the small business accounts and supporting marketing on middle market cases.  You will be exposed to a wide variety of industries and asked work alongside a very accomplished producer and account executive team.  You'll be able to learn and grow in your role as well as take on a lot of client management responsibilities.

Work closely with the Account Executive on middle market accounts.  Put submissions together, provide status reports and help prepare presentation slides.
Commercial Insurance Account Assistant Requirements
At least three (3) years of commercial property and casualty insurance experience at an insurance agency in a customer service representative, assistant account management or account management capacity.
State insurance license.

Employee Benefits Account Executive - Indianapolis, IN

Our client is a leading independent agency in the Midwest that has an immediate need in their office in Indianapolis for an Account Executive in their Employee Benefits division. The ideal candidate will have similar experience working in a client service/producer support role for another large retail insurance agency.



Employee Benefits Account Executive Responsibilities

Develop implementation plans with clients to include coordinating and conducting enrollment meetings and training of client's benefit personnel.

Review agreements and/or documents for accuracy.

Meet at least quarterly with clients to review large claims, monthly claims experience, and conduct on-site claims visits.

Develop financial projections for clients using actuarial modeling and deliver reports with commentary.

Supervise and interview potential candidates for team employment.

Employee Benefits Account Executive Requirements

7-10 years of applicable experience in a brokerage/retail agency environment.

IN Life/Health license required.

Experience with self-funded medical plans and an agency management system preferred.


Additional designations such as RHU, REBC, and CEBS preferred.

Director of Client Services - Boston, MA

The Director of Client Services is responsible for creating and supporting a sales driven culture within this Boston insurance agency's personal and small commercial service units.  In doing so you'll ensure the use of best practices standards regarding the placement of new clients, retention of existing clients and management of the agency's overall service platform including claims.  You'll report to the president of the agency for a cohesive approach to deliverables that are in line with the agency's overall objectives.  This is a newly created position that completes the trifecta of leadership within the company.  The firm has been built a platform of catering to affluent clientele, so a large portion of the technical aspects of this role will focus in high net worth personal lines and specialty commercial business interests.

Director of Client Services Responsibilities
Work closely with the vice president of sales to continually evaluate the sales and review process and to train and support account managers. 
Supervise account managers, quality control specialists and additional technical staff hires.  Handle recruiting, hiring, training, mentorship and performance reviews for those employees.  Set continuing education expectations, define roles and establish workflows.  Standardize policies, procedures and the utilization of technology in those processes.
Carrier relationship management is hugely important.  Implement and maintain productive relationships with underwriters; address account specific problems and work on agency wide programs with those contacts. Meet volume goals by providing palcement guidance to client managers and producers.
Serve as an extension of the agency at industry and trade events; attend training and seminars led by insurance company partners on new programs, rating systems and procedures that are important to your team's service protocols.
Create and manage the cross-selling program internally between the personal lines and commercial lines divisions.
Director of Client Services Requirements:
At least 7-10 yeas of career experience working in insurance with proven abilities to facilitate culture, teamwork and best practices within a service unit. 
Product experience can be a blend of personal lines and commercial property and casualty but should be equally if not more heavily weighted to high net worth personal lines.  Familiarity with several of the major private client personal lines insurance companies with the ability to learn the appetites, underwriting guidelines and workflows of those carriers as well as several middle market personal lines and commercial lines writers.

Energetic, proactive, organized, sales-focused and a strong communicator.  Able to tackle projects related to staff development. Possess good leadership skills and have a strong coaching mentality.
