key executive position within their commercial lines business group.
Vice President Commercial Products Responsibilities:
- Maintain profitability and competitive pricing for the commercial insurance product.
- Implement State law changes.
- Stay abreast of competitors' revision of rates and products.
- Periodically monitor policies issued for a given State to determine risk characteristics.
- Supervise and provide support to underwriting staff.
- Maintain communication with marketing and claims.
- Work closely with IT personnel regarding rate revisions and product changes.
- Conduct competitive analysis as needed.
Vice President
Commercial Products Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree (BA). Advanced degree such as MBA desirable. CPCU desirable. Completion of actuarial exams desirable.
- Eight to ten years or more of related experience within commercial lines.
- Experience within product management and pricing.
- Strong analytical skills with proven ability to synthesize complex or diverse information; Collects and researches data; Uses intuition and experience to complement data; Designs work flows and procedures.
