Product Marketing Analyst - IL

My client is a life insurance company that has been offering a wide variety of insurance products for over 100 years. They are strong financially as demonstrated by their "Excellent" rating by AM Best. They currently offer an opportunity to join their marketing department. This individual will play a critical role in the Marketing group’s effort in researching and analyzing new product opportunities and bringing them to market, as well as positioning current products with my client’s sales force. This position will analyze and interpret product research to develop positioning and supporting tools for the sales of their products.



Product Marketing Analyst Responsibilities
Discover, qualify, and analyze information from various sources – market intelligence, competitive intelligence, and market research. Analyze results, draw insights.
Contribute to product strategy, definition, and delivery.
Collects and leverages market intelligence and other information about competitors and competing products.
Collects and leverages industry data for product development and product communications.
Collects and leverages women’s market information.
Establish research methodology and design format for gathering data from other companies.
Collaborate with marketing team to design and deliver research to impact sales collateral and tools.

Product Marketing Analyst Qualifications
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university, Masters preferred.
Life insurance and annuity industry experience required.
Four years’ experience conducting research and analysis in a business environment.
Qualitative/quantitative research such as focus groups and surveys.
Strong communication and presentation skills.

Project management capabilities.
