Commercial Lines Service Supervisor - St. Louis, MO


Our client is a reputable St. Louis insurance agency serving businesses and individuals in the area for over fifty years.  They have a knowledgeable sales and service staff that offer commercial, employee benefits and personal lines coverage to local and regional businesses.   This position, Commercial Lines Service Supervisor, will help with Human Resources and operations functions of the agency.  It has a heavy emphasis on employee management and workflow efficiency in the customer service unit.  The agency is looking for someone who will ensure that customers receive the best service possible, and who can coordinate functions with service staff and clients.



Commercial Lines Service Supervisor Responsibilities:
Monitors performance of employees and takes action to correct substandard performance with emphasis on customer service quality.
Manages recruiting, interviewing, training, work review and policy administration processes.
Assist staff with account management needs- watch audits, compliance and workloads; step in with escalated marketing or customer service issues.
Help with office management duties like systems integration, office equipment, scheduling/vacation/time off requests and some minor accounting or payroll matters.

Commercial Lines Service Supervisor Qualifications:
At least five (5) years of property and casualty insurance client service or underwriting experience; prior supervisory or office management experience is required.
Bachelor's degree is preferred; pursuance of continuing education like CIC, AU or ARM is highly desired.
Broad coverage proficiency in general liability, commercial auto, large property, and workers compensation; entertainment exposure is highly desired but not required.
Active Missouri P&C license or able to obtain one upon hire.

Commercial Lines Client Service Team Leader - Midwest

This is an awesome opportunity for an account executive to step into a leadership role.  Our client is a large independent agency that is a player in large middle market risks.  They are looking for someone to step in as an account executive on their most prestigious book and manage  their commercial lines staff.  Our client is looking for someone with a lot of horsepower and experience working with risks in the $40K - $100K revenue range.  Must be able to relocate and have experience working with claims, marketing and higher level service.


Commercial Lines Client Service Team Leader
Our client is a larger, regional insurance agency build on a philosophy of customer service and value added propositions.  The client service team has many layers with direction coming down from its top account executives.  As VP, Client Service Team Leader, your role is to participate in all phases of the account service process.  At a high level you'll make strategic decisions on the implementation of programs, training, process and procedures.  On an administrative level your daily involvement in the policies, procedures and execution of client service is critical to some of the agency's larger, more complex commercial insureds.

VP, Client Service Team Leader Responsibilities:
As a senior consultant serve as the primary point of contact to upper middle market and risk management commercial accounts.
Can manage a team of CSRs and account managers providing advice on complex service issues, offering mentoring and training, and identifying areas for process improvements.
Build internal and external relationships to identify cross selling opportunities with the agency's producers and further the bond between the brokerage and the client.

VP, Client Service Team Leader Qualifications:
Minimum ten (10) years of experience in roles of increasing responsibility within a commercial insurance brokerage.
Detailed experience within a commercial agency or national brokerage as an account executive, consultant or team leader.
Enjoys directly managing a dedicated list of accounts while also taking on team leadership duties.
Exposure to a variety of middle market and risk management accounts and the senior client service advisor.
Bachelor's degree, continuing education achievements and advanced training in leadership or process/procedure improvements are all helpful.

Hi There!  I"m working on a really nice search in Nashville.  My client is a specialty agency that specializes in a unique insurance coverage.  They are focused on adding two additional people to their service staff.  The first spot is CSR role that will handle administrative duties and light customer contact.  The second one is for a senior account manager with excellent customer service skills that can step into a supervisory role and lead by example and also teach the existing staff.  Middle market commercial experience is a must and a strong professional and personable personality is imperative!  Both job descriptions are below!

Client Service Manager (Senior Account Manager)

Our client is a specialty commercial insurance agency with a strong focus in a very unique niche.  This position, Client Service Manager, manages a team of Account Managers and Assistants servicing the agency's total book of business.  The agency is looking for someone who will ensure that customers receive the best service possible, and who can coordinate functions with service staff and clients.

Client Service Manager Responsibilities:
Monitors performance of employees and takes action to correct substandard performance with emphasis on customer service quality.
Manages recruiting, training, work review and policy administration processes.
The coordinator for new and renewal business; ensuring accurate claims and audit information, compliance, submission compilation, written service execution and renewal marketing strategies.
Works with accounting for finance related matters like account billing, payroll, collections, agency licenses and surplus lines tax filings.

Client Service Manager Qualifications:
At least five (5) years of commercial insurance client service experience; prior management or team leadership is required.
Bachelor's degree is preferred; pursuance of continuing education like CIC, AU or ARM is highly desired.
Broad coverage proficiency in general liability, commercial auto, large property, and workers compensation; entertainment exposure is highly desired but not required.
Comfortable managing a team averaging 8-10 direct reports.
Active TN P&C license.

Our client is a specialty commercial insurance agency with a strong focus in a unique niche.  This position, Commercial Account Manager, will be responsible for supporting the agency's ongoing efforts to provide quality customer service and risk management consultation.

Commercial Account Manager Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary client service point of contact to the insured.
Answer questions about coverage and pricing, create and execute the renewal cycle, coordinate all renewal marketing and create RFPs.
Be a resource for producers and other account managers concerning markets, coverage issues and claims.

Commercial Account Manager Qualifications:
At least two (2) years of commercial insurance experience as a CSR or Account Manager

Operations Manager - Mobile, AL

My client is a respected, storied independent insurance agency in the Southeast. The agency is managed at the 1,000 foot level by several owners who don’t have the desire to be involved in most day-to-day operations. The Operations Manager handles nearly every facet of running the agency from training the client service team to overseeing the administrative departments and weighing in on strategic business development decisions. This person needs to be politically savvy, intuitive and be able to manage the demographics of an agency involving multiple decision makers, successful and engrained producers and the administrative support staff. This position goes beyond just being an agency manager; it’s a quarterback for all communication and delegation between the sales and service staff. Operations Manager - Mobile, AL

Our client is a reputable insurance broker with strong roots in Mobile.  Dedicated to building a profitable and successful company, the team has been recognized for its contributions to the insurance industry and the greater Mobile community. The company seeks an Operations Manager who will be a leader in several phases of the agency’s administration.  In this leadership role you will be charged with continuing the prosperity of the agency through contributions to marketing, Human Resources, sales and customer service.

Operations Manager Responsibilities:
Oversee all Human Resources activities pertaining to the agency including employee training and development, recruitment, performance management, compensation design and perpetuation.
Manage the majority of the agency's staff including account managers, claims, bookkeeping, IT, administration; additional training and mentoring could be over areas of the production team.
Develop budgets and discuss staffing plans with the owners; participate in agency branding and marketing.

Operations Manager Qualifications:
At least fifteen (15) years of insurance experience in roles of increasing management responsibility.
Experience directly managing groups with 25 or more employees; strong track record of performance management and handling Human Resources related issues (compliance, benefits, Best Practices, etc.) along with general operations oversight.
Broad property and casualty insurance knowledge to serve as a product resource for the commercial and personal lines sales and service teams.
Market knowledge of the Gulf Coast; existing insurance company relationships in the Southeast, familiarity with coastal coverage parameters, understanding of the way an insurance agency can appropriately attract and retain larger business clients.
Well organized, strong people manager; exhibits a commitment to employee development and business leadership.

Commercial Lines Supervisor Responsibilities:
Manage customer service representatives and account managers throughout multiple offices.
Provide training with regards to account management procedures, handling escalated customer issues and organization of work priorities.
