Construction Defect Commercial Claims Adjuster - Greenville, SC


Our client is a respected specialty commercial auto insurance company.   The company is financially stable and has a terrific opportunity for a new individual to contribute in an important claims position.  Outside of the standard auto liability and transportation policies, the company also diversified its premium with trucker's general liability, garagekeepers and construction defect premium.  Due to the unique elements of these claims, particularly concerning contractor indemnity issues, this position, Senior Commercial Casualty Claims Adjuster, requires an experienced professional who can oversee nearly all of the company's construction defect and general liability claims.  



Senior Commercial Casualty Claims Adjuster Responsibilities:
Manage complex claims, investigate facts, determine liability, evaluate damages and negotiate settlements with claimants and/or their attorneys.
Obtain quality recorded statements from insureds and claimants; proper posting and documentation of claims file.
Establish and maintain appropriate reserving levels for loss and expense.
Write reservation of rights and coverage position letters.
Examine contracts, evaluate risk transfer and duty to defend and indemnify additional insureds.

Senior Commercial Casualty Claims Adjuster Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and current claims adjuster's license are required.
At least seven (7) years of continuous general liability claims adjusting experience.
The exposure to construction defect claims (subcontractor experience is acceptable) is critical; you should be familiar with multiple jurisdictions and be comfortable writing claims summary reports and coverage letters.
Familiarity with insurance law, commercial general liability policies and coverage, and legal principles and terminology as it relates to insurance operations is required.

High Net Worth Personal Lines Producer- Nashville, TN or Memphis, TN

I'm working with an awesome company that is seeking an established personal lines producer that is comfortable working with high net worth and affluent clientele.  They are seeking a polished professional who has the ability to offer white glove service while also understanding how to develop business through networking.  High net worth personal lines experience is not necessary.  However, it is preferred and the appropriate individual should have a strong background in personal lines sales.

High Net Worth Personal Lines Producer

Our client is a large, multi-state regional insurance brokerage with established operations in Tennessee.  The agency's growth plan is designed to capitalize on local market opportunities with businesses and business owners who have complex risk management needs.  Naturally, several of those relationships fit within an affluent space with expertise in personal insurance protection is needed.  This opportunity, Personal Lines Producer, Private Client Group, is a built out of the agency's existing property and casualty infrastructure.  In this role you'll be charged with business development initiatives designed to market, attract and retain wealthy insureds for the agency.

Personal Lines Producer, Private Client Group Responsibilities:
Develop a sales and marketing platform where you're the front line consultant to prospective clients.
Work closely with the property and casualty and group benefits producers to identify cross selling opportunities internally.
Additionally, seek out non-insurance partnerships that can provide a flow of third party referrals.
Remain a high level consultant with the client throughout the year to advise them on important policy changes, coverage options and competitive renewal pricing.

Personal Lines Producer, Private Client Group Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree is required.
At least five (5) years of high net worth personal lines insurance experience as a producer for another insurance broker or as a senior business development/marketing executive with an insurance carrier.
Local market knowledge and understanding of how to execute a sales plan to insure affluent clientele.
Most importantly have established business ties with lawyers, estate attorneys, financial advisors, CPA and bankers who can lead you to affluent business clients.

Commercial Lines Account Executive

Our client is a regional insurance agency with the capacity to provide insurance and risk management programs for complex, high risk insureds.  Their organization is experiencing tremendous growth and two of their senior commercial producers are in need of a sophisticated client service executive.  This position, Senior Commercial Account Executive, is an important role that provides a strategic approach to account management.  This position is designed to add an additional layer of coordination, team leadership and technical expertise internally while externally serving as a point of contact with insureds the same way a producer would.

Senior Commercial Account Executive Responsibilities:
Lead the ongoing client risk management process and provides coverage options, funding alternatives and value-added service options to meet specific client needs.
Develop and promote cross-selling and additional revenue opportunities for clients and prospects.
Assist Sales Executive in writing new business and retaining existing client base using company approved sales practices and materials.
Manage all new business implementation between the client and service team and provide leadership when addressing solving complex service issues.
Develop and maintain insurance company underwriting and other key market relationships to stay abreast of new products and marketing strategies and promote partnership-based renewal negotiations.
Take a multi-discipline approach to the sales and service process; meaning you participate in planning meetings on complex accounts, you advocate cost savings with underwriters based on a variety of client claims and loss data, and you create programs and market access for producers to capitalize on while prospecting new business.
Seek out appropriate relationships within standard and E&S markets; work closely with wholesale brokers and insurance companies as the agency's primary point of contact for contract negotiations, premium commitments, etc.
Contribute to the overall business and sales strategies of the agency's Mid-Atlantic operations.

Senior Commercial Account Executive Qualifications:
At least seven (7) years of commercial insurance experience directly working with middle market and risk management cases; prior commercial lines underwriting, agency marketing leadership, agency sales or Client Service Executive/Account Executive experience will be considered.
Proficient in several areas of program design, strategic marketing and policy review for General Liability, large property, commercial auto, professional liability and workers compensation.  
Ability to partner with sales executives, client service staff and marketing specialists to analyze risk, strategize renewals and help advise clients on appropriate insurance programs.
Must have extensive regional carrier and wholesale brokerage relationships to provide an advantage when negotiating the best coverage and rates available.
Active state insurance license.

Best, this organization has achieved success by offering an innovate portfolio of group medical, accident and health insurance products.  As a part of their continued national expansion the company would like to identify sales executives to promote a unique stop loss product in the Midwest, Mid-Atlantic and Western U.S. territories and can be located in any one of these regions.  Specifically, this product line allows mid-sized employers access to self-funding and all the advantages that come with alternative risk sharing normally reserved for larger companies.  It’s an excellent strategy for brokers to employ when consulting with clients about rising health care costs.
Stop Loss Sales Executive Responsibilities:
Experience working with medical stop loss products for an insurance company or MGU.
Able to build or work within existing relationship bases with TPAs, agents, and brokers that sell stop loss products currently.
Must possess some level of understanding of the underwriting process, if not specific underwriting background.
Perform risk analysis of new business and renewals to make sound judgments and recommendations in pricing and designing group benefit plans.
Work closely with internal sales, actuarial, and case management departments in designing benefit plans and presentations.
Stop Loss Sales Executive Requirements:
Bachelor's degree is highly preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
At least five (5) years of sales and marketing experience with existing relationships in the same territory you'd work in for this company.
