Personal Lines Business Development Specialist - Denver, CO

This Personal Lines Business Development role is a tremendous opportunity for an experienced private client insurance professional to take control of and transform an existing practice for a strong regional agency in Denver.  High net worth personal lines has long been a part of the agency's business model however its been more on the sidelines as a complimentary service offering for internal referrals versus a strong external revenue driver.  That will change with this someone taking the reigns in this business development position.  The ideal candidate has deep experience in client management, preferably at the Account Executive level, but desire more influence in strategic design, higher earnings through commission and external sales responsibilities.  You'll be supported in your service efforts with a dedicated, tenured account manager at your side.  You'll be supported in your business development efforts with several existing referral relationships through private bankers and wealth advisors. 

Personal Lines Business Development, Account Executive Responsibilities
Able to cultivate, qualify and onboard new clients with a hand in the complete sales cycle.  This includes your ability to create and execute a marketing strategy to get in front of new clients through your marketing efforts with personal and private bankers, wealth advisors and other producers within the agency.
Be the face of the Private Client Division to the Big Four insurance companies- Ace, Chubb, Fireman's Fund and AIG- working with them on program design, rating and policy changes and customer management strategies.
Serve as the primary technical resource on products and programs unique to affluent personal lines.
Personal Lines Business Development, Account Executive Requirements:
At least five (5) years of dedicated experience in sales, marketing and client management within high net worth personal lines.  Established relationships with underwriters and a solid understanding of pricing and coverage nuances for high net worth personal lines programs.  
State insurance license.
Consultative approach to sales; able to seek out and develop third party referral streams with underwriters, financial advisors, bankers, attorneys and accountants. 

Comfortable working under new business sales goals. Must be able to balance client consulting after the point fo sale with continuing to seek out new account opportunities.

Private Client Personal Lines Account Executive - Scottsdale, AZ

The role of client manager, referred to as Account Executive within this insurance agency's highly specialized private client group platform, supports the business development and client consulting efforts.  Your influence in this role is critical to growing the office and maintaining a reputation of excellence with regards to providing clients important and timely risk protection.  The agency works very hard to integrate each team member into every facet of the sales and service process. The firm's Phoenix office is developing and therefore needs a strong second-in-command to the business development leader to build out the operations. 

Private Client Personal Lines Account Executive Responsibilities:
Take charge of aspects of the renewal process including client review meetings, submission compilation and marketing negotiation with carriers.
Perform policy administration including endorsements and/or other policy changes, certificates and assist with gathering renewal information.
Manage all policy billing including cancellations, renewals and any applicable payment scheduling or financing.
Take control of escalated customer service or claims issues.
Participate in the agency's ongoing branding by maintaining strong ties with key underwriters in the high net worth market.


Private Client Personal Lines Account Executive Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree is required.
At least five (5) years of insurance experience in a client service or sales role within an insurance agency's personal lines division that has a defined portion of affluent clients. 
You have a strong working history of doing business with underwriters at carriers like Chubb, Fireman's Fund, Chartis and Ace to procure appropriate coverage and endorsements.  

Demonstrate team leadership abilities so as the office grows you can be a resource for training and development of junior employees as well as work directly with the client on coverage recommendations and delivering on service promises in concert with the business development leaders.

Fraud Specialist - Iowa

My client operates in 12 states throughout the Midwest. They currently offer an opportunity to join their organization in a newly created position of Fraud Specialist. In this role you will develop, coordinate, and implement processes and procedures to objectively investigate and evaluate potentially fraudulent activities related to a claim to determine if a legitimate claim exists and eliminate waste and abuse in all lines of the Claims business.

Fraud Specialist Responsibilities
Develops criteria based on analysis of trends, data, and patterns to identify claims that have the highest potential of fraudulent activity. 



Evaluates information in claims file against selected criteria to identify claims with potential fraudulent activity.  Utilizes cost/benefit analysis to make recommendations concerning the pursuit of additional investigation into high potential fraud claims. 
Gathers data to support fraud claim including completion of relevant field work and coordination with insurance industry fraud units, counsel, and law enforcement agencies. 
Develops fraud awareness training programs on detection, deterrence, and prevention of fraud for internal and external audiences as requested.  Partners with law enforcement or any related public and private sectors to increase opportunities to combat insurance fraud.
Develops standardized and repeatable procedures to ensure consistency when faced with a potential fraud situation.

Fraud Specialist Requirements
A minimum of five years property-casualty claims adjusting experience.
At least three or more years in a fraud related role within a claims unit.
Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) or Certified Insurance Fraud Investigator (CIFI) preferred.  

A minimum of five years medical related claims experience preferred.

Personal Lines Customer Service Representative Qualifications:

  • At least 2-3 years of personal lines insurance experience with knowledge of homeowners, auto and umbrella coverage.
  • Ability to step into a team with an existing workload, can handle a lot of online rating and paperless documentation and is comfortable discussing new business and closing deals.
  • State insurance license.

Account Executive, Private Client Personal Lines-Nashville, TN

This Account Executive position will be actively involved in supporting the sales team with managing a large book of affluent personal lines business.  Your success in the position is because you offer subject matter expertise with the unique challenges of insuring the wealthy’s personal property.  You are also familiar with the coverages and pricing available through insurance companies that specialize in insurance high valued homes, cars, jewelry, etc.  This level of position within the team will require you to be a leader when addressing client needs and delegation of internal duties.  There is a strong possibility you’ll also take on formal management duties over the staff.

Account Executive, Private Client Personal Lines Responsibilities:
  • Communicate directly with insureds; provide consultation and education on risk management solutions to protect their personal assets.
  • Offer leadership within the service team; providing advice on marketing, escalated client issues and renewal preparations.
  • Support the sales team by providing timely, accurate and professional client service which promotes the agency’s referral networks and high level of account retention.
  • Take on duties related to workflow processes, employee training, performance reviews and marketing.

Account Executive, Private Client Personal Lines Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree is required.
  • At least 3-5 years of account management or account executive experience dealing with high net worth clientele for personal lines coverage.  Have worked with Fireman’s Fund, AIG, Chubb and Ace on submissions, quotes, pricing negotiation, renewals and endorsements.  Familiar with those company’s rating platforms, online tools and also an agency management system like AMS360 or Sagitta.
  • Ability to multi-task and to lead others as a senior member of the team through training, workflows and escalated client management issues.
  • Active state insurance license.

Our client is a reputable insurance agency with a highly specialized private client group platform. The organization works very hard to integrate each team member into every facet of the sales and service process.  Each person is accountable to the client whether it be consulting on policy provisions and discussing renewals to simply providing timely feedback on policy questions.  The firm’s New York office is experiencing terrific growth and has an opportunity for a client service professional with existing high net worth personal lines career experience.  This can be a senior client management role, one with a business development component, or strictly book administration.  It will largely depend on your experience level and career interests coming into the position.
Private Client Personal Lines Account Manager Responsibilities:

  • Senior level candidates will be given the option of assuming a large number of clients without business development responsibilities or taking a smaller case load to have time allocated to originating new business.

They currently have available an opportunity to join their organization as a Personal Lines Specialist. This role is responsible for personal lines training and coordinating/overseeing the personal lines process at our client with the goal of maximizing customer satisfaction and profitability.   The person holding this position is the subject matter expert in all areas of personal lines insurance for the agency working very closely with agents and CSRS to make sure polices are in good shape and the agency and company process is being followed.  This position also has the responsibility of performing typical personal lines and commercial lines CSR activities.
Personal Lines Specialist Responsibilities:
  • Stay on top of all company rules for personal lines insurance.  Become an industry expert in the field, understanding industry changes and defining adaptation strategies for the agency and customers.

  • Be the go to person in the agency for personal lines questions and support
  • Be knowledgeable in all company software systems.

  • Train CSRs to become experts in personal lines.
  • Help define and refine processes to ensure max efficiency and lower E&O exposures.
  • Provide strategic input to COO and CEO regarding personal lines insurance

Personal Lines Specialist Requirements:
  • Five (5) or more years of experience working with personal lines insurance coverages in a carrier or agency setting.
  • Proven ability to train & develop others.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Solid background in computer software systems.
