Commercial Lines Producer - Charlotte, NC & Nashville, TN

My client is a well respected, consultative, regional broker that focuses on risks in the $50K revenue and above range.  They are looking for an established producer with a strong track record of success that would be motivated to transition to a company that offers unparalleled resources and ownership opportunities.  In addition to an existing producer, they will also consider someone that has experience selling to C-Suite level contacts in large companies in a business to business capacity.  They also value education and will consider people with sales skills and advanced degrees and attained a JD, MBA or CPA designation.


Our client is a Top 50 independent insurance agency with regional offices throughout the Mid-Atlantic.  They are a multi-generation company with active employee participation in ownership and perpetuation.  The agency's most successful producers joined the firm without any prior insurance experience.  Rather, these were professionals already networked in with local businesses that wanted a sales career with recurring revenue and long term ownership.  In both of these openings the company wants to continue with the same hiring trends and bring in individuals interested in developing a career in consultative insurance sales.  This opportunity, Commercial Insurance Sales Executive, is for an aggressive sales executive who takes a consultative approach to sales and feels the best outlet for success may lie within the insurance industry.  

Commercial Insurance Sales Executive Responsibilities:
Active participation in new business development; setting and achieving prospecting and closing goals.
Working closely within a sales team to identify target markets, move of new clients within the sales cycle and recognize geographic expansion opportunities in surrounding cities.
Ability to attract larger businesses in a variety of industries such as banking, real estate, manufacturing, construction or transporation.

Commercial Insurance Sales Executive Qualifications:
Approximately 3-5 years of aggressive outside business-to-business sales experience; the key requirement is in those sales transactions you've dealt with C-Suite decision makers.
In those prior sales you've partnered with clients to provide a business service or operating solution not necessarily just a product transaction. 
Familiarity with the local market and active community involvement.   
Understand the sales cycle of targeting larger accounts.

Compensation is commensurate with experience and provides a competitive base salary with commission on new business sales and employee stock ownership.
