Agency Claims Account Manager-Memphis, TN

This claims position is with an independent agency in Memphis that wants a person with strong client management skills with familiarity interpreting and reporting claims to be dedicated to its claims practice.  This is an inside role within the service team where you will work beside account managers and producers to help facilitate the process when an insured reports a property, casualty or workers compensation claim.

  
Agency Claims Account Manager Responsibilities:

  • Accept calls from insureds that are reporting new claims.  Take information, prepare reports to submit to the insurance companies and enter data into the agency's computer system.  Build a file that includes pertinent reporting information and share it with the sales team as well as start the process with insurance company adjusters.
  • Pull the client's file during the claims process to review policies and check for areas of concern related to coverage gaps and/or exclusions.
  • Work with the agency's sales and service team on claims tracking and loss history analysis.  Run loss reports in preparation for renewals where open or outstanding claims items can be resolved to improve the client's pricing and coverage options.



Agency Claims Account Manager Responsibilities:
  • Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • At least 2-3 years of commercial lines insurance career experience with exposure to claims handling and/or reporting.  This can be through work as a customer service representative or account manager for an insurance agency or through a more traditional claims adjusting background. 
  • Must offer a broad property and casualty coverage background with workers compensation policies being an area you are particularly comfortable in.  This includes an understanding of how to report and assess workers compensation injuries along with ways to read and factor experience modification factors.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel.

Agency Claims Specialist-Atlanta, GA

This claims position is with an independent agency in Atlanta who is looking for an insurance professional with exposure to commercial claims reporting.  Much like an account manager role, this position will work in a service team dedicated to supporting a large book of complex, risk management accounts.  The Claims Specialist role starts the claims reporting process and helps facilitate it through closing or settlement. 


Agency Claims Specialist Responsibilities:

  • Accept calls from insureds that are reporting new claims.  Take information, prepare reports to submit to the insurance companies and enter data into the agency's computer system.  Build a file that includes pertinent reporting information and share it with the sales team as well as start the process with insurance company adjusters.

Agency Claims Account Manager Responsibilities:

  • Bachelor's degree is required; must possess strong critical thinking and problem solving skills.
  • A highly desired candidate has approximately 2-3 years of experience at another retail agency, brokerage or consulting firm as a commercial analyst or account manager with experience handling parts of the claims review and reporting process.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel. Able to input new claims data, analyze comparative data from loss run sheets and generate reports showing claims history and trends.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel.

Senior Team Lead Casualty Underwriting-New York, NY

Our client is a reinsurer with worldwide operations. They currently offer an opportunity to join their company in a Senior Team Lead Casualty Underwriting role in their New York location. This position is accountable for driving the underwriting policy and performance, including underwriting quality, appetite guidance and overall execution of the Excess General Liability (GL) lines for large industrial risks (including Energy) using predominantly surplus lines insurance but also reinsurance.



Senior Team Lead Casualty Underwriting Responsibilities:

  • Underwriting decisions on client’s largest and most complex accounts.
  • Review new and renewal submissions ensuring accuracy and adequacy of data; evaluating risk and account quality, including exposures and loss potentials; pricing accounts, utilizing the pricing models as necessary; and determining acceptable underwriting terms and conditions.
  • Perform financial reviews as necessary.
  • Prepare clear and concise underwriting information for use in case of referrals.  Establish advanced pricing assumptions to be utilized.  Develop complex rating approaches to be used on business not utilizing the pricing models.
  • Communicate quotations, authorizations, declinations and binders to the client and, handle negotiations / changes in the account.


Senior Team Lead Casualty Underwriting Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required; CPCU or other industry designation preferred.
  • Minimum 15+ years’ experience with deep experience in the GL lines for large industrial clients.
  • Experience within Facultative reinsurance.
  • Superior analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated competency in leadership
  • Demonstrated client relationship management skills and influencing skills
  • Financial acumen strong analytical skills and aptitude for numerical and/or financial evaluation of business performance
  • Excellent communication skills. Experience and comfort level communicating with individuals at all levels.

Agency Claims Adjuster - Charlotte, NC

Our client is seeking someone with a strong general liability background that would be comfortable transitioning to the agency side of the business.  The appropriate individual will have a strong outgoing personality and be able to consult on sales calls as well as act as the advocate for the client throughout the claims process.

Agency Claims Adjuster - Charlotte, NC

Our client is an independent insurance agency with an established commercial claims practice.   The agency insures a wide variety of businesses requiring claims consultation before, during and after a claims occurs.  As a Senior Claims Adjuster, you're responsible for managing all of the agency's property and general liability claims.  You'll participate in client meetings intended to education insureds on the claims process.  You'll also advocate on their behalf by working closely with TPAs and insurance companies to resolve claims in a timely, efficient and client focused manner.

Senior Claims Adjuster Responsibilities:
Oversee all commercial insurance claims that are not work comp related.
Develop rapport with insurance companies and TPAs to advocate on behalf of the agency and insureds.
Advise the agency's staff and its insureds on claims trends, risk management solutions and recommended courses of action to resolve issues.
Ensure the timely production of reports with claims narratives, large loss reports and E&O claim handling to the executive team.

Senior Claims Adjuster Requirements:
At least five (5) years of property and casualty claims adjusting or consulting experience.
Must offer experience adjusting the following claims: construction, large property, products liability and commercial auto.
NC state adjuster's license.
Ability to see the claims process beyond the transaction; can manage expectations and create an action plan alongside the agency's producers and the insured.
