Our client is a large regional and national agency who is growing and currently looking for a Sales Manager in their Jackson area office. They are seeking a dynamic individual who will bring high energy, good work ethic, and an entrepreneurial spirit to the position, along with strong technical skills and past agency experience focused on all lines of insurance risks.
Agency Sales Manager
Accountable for overall sales performance within the region for all lines of coverage - commercial, personal lines, and employee benefits.
Work on a daily basis with producers to motivate, mentor, coach, and achieve desired sales goals/results.
Partner with other leaders to ensure budget targets for new business sales, retention, and other income are achieved while maintaining expense controls.
Maintain detailed knowledge of relevant insurance carrier trends, product offerings, and compensation arrangements.
Agency Sales Manager Requirements
Bachelors degree preferred.
8-10 years of progressive insurance experience with past agency sales management success a must.
Extensive travel within the assigned territory.
