Our client is a regional leader in Insurance Services in the upper Midwest.  They have 12 locations throughout ND and SD.  They offer a proven track record of high customer satisfaction and sustained sales growth.  Their focus is on Commercial and Farm/Crop Insurance. They currently have available an opportunity to join their organization, reporting to the CEO, in a sales leadership role.
 Director of Sales Responsibilities:
- Develops a business plan and sales strategy for the market that ensures attainment of company sales goals and profitability.
 - Responsible for the performance and development of the Producers
 - Develops and maintains a book of business (Player-Coach).
 - Assists in the merger and acquisition process of other insurance agencies
 - Creates and conducts proposal presentations with producers as needed.
 - Assists Producers in preparation of proposals and presentations.
 - Assists in recruiting, testing, and hiring of Producers and CSRs based on criteria agreed upon by senior management.
 
Director of Sales Requirements:
- 5-7 years of experience in sales and sales management.
 - Experience with Commercial and/or Farm-Crop Insurance
 - Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
 - Willingness to travel and work in a regional team of professionals.
 - Proven leadership and ability to drive sales teams
