Commercial Lines Account Manager - Austin, TX

This is a really nice opportunity with a great independent agency that is increasing its presence in the Austin area.  They are looking for a very strong commercial lines person that has marketing experience and is good working in front of clients.


Commercial Lines Account Manager
Our client is a reputable Austin insurance agency serving businesses and individuals in the area for over fifty years.  They have a knowledgeable sales and service staff that offers commercial, employee benefits, and personal lines coverage to small and medium sized businesses.  They seek qualified service professionals to work closely with their clients to assist with policy questions and renewals.  Opportunities for account managers exist in their commercial and personal lines divisions.

As Account Manager
You'll assist the producer in marketing and servicing a book of business
Responsibilities include creating submissions, analyzing loss information, and generating premium rates and audits
You'll be the primary client service contact and assist with endorsement requests, insurance proposals, and other policy related issues in a timely manner
In personal lines you may also write new business through referrals from commercial clients

Account Manager Qualifications
You must have experience working with major coverage lines like general liability, commercial auto, work comp, property, BOP and excess/umbrella
In personal lines must have knowledge of auto, home, and umbrella
At least two (2) years of insurance experience needed in underwriting or agency customer service
Must have a TX P&C insurance license and currently hold, or intend to work towards, a professional designation
