Regional Sales Director Responsibilities
Expand business within your assigned multi-state
region.
Manage entire sales cycle with prospects
including qualification, identifying needs and pain points, overcoming
objections and closing.
Leverage a solutions selling approach to
close business with “C” suite and executive decision makers at regional
insurance brokers (P&C and benefits agencies).
Cold calling to target prospects in
database and timely in-bound lead follow-up originating from company marketing
campaigns.
Regional Sales Director Qualifications
Experience in selling non-commodity
product/ service based on value and not price, software/SaaS within
insurance or financial services is required.
Previous experience selling a
product/service to insurance brokers and agencies (Benefits, P&C or both).
Proven track record of successful cold
calling to “C-Suite” and executive level decision makers.
Track record of sourcing your own leads
(cold calling, email, networking, referrals)
Proven ability to achieve and exceed
revenue goals in B2B
Excellent communication skills – verbal and
writing
Discipline to work autonomously and be
self-motivated
Competitive spirit who can work in a team
atmosphere
High energy and persistence
Experience selling SaaS (Agency Management
Systems, CRM’s or similar) to financial services or insurance is a plus
Carrier and TPA reps will be considered
Professional presence in person and on the
phone
Computer proficiency required including MS
products, e-mail and Internet. Salesforce experience preferred.
