My client is a fast-growing Software Solutions company with a comprehensive cloud-based HR resource center.  Their technology is reinventing the way companies address risk management exposures through their unique combination of online compliance and employee training solutions and a live HR consulting hotline.  They presently offer an opportunity to join this established market leader selling a unique technology solution to medium- size insurance brokers and agencies.

Regional Sales Director Responsibilities
Expand business within your assigned multi-state region.
Manage entire sales cycle with prospects including qualification, identifying needs and pain points, overcoming objections and closing. 
Leverage a solutions selling approach to close business with “C” suite and executive decision makers at regional insurance brokers (P&C and benefits agencies).
Cold calling to target prospects in database and timely in-bound lead follow-up originating from company marketing campaigns.

Regional Sales Director Qualifications
Experience in selling non-commodity product/ service based on value and not price, software/SaaS within insurance or financial services is required.
Previous experience selling a product/service to insurance brokers and agencies (Benefits, P&C or both).
Proven track record of successful cold calling to “C-Suite” and executive level decision makers.
Track record of sourcing your own leads (cold calling, email, networking, referrals)
Proven ability to achieve and exceed revenue goals in B2B
Excellent communication skills – verbal and writing
Discipline to work autonomously and be self-motivated
Competitive spirit who can work in a team atmosphere
High energy and persistence
Experience selling SaaS (Agency Management Systems, CRM’s or similar) to financial services or insurance is a plus
Carrier and TPA reps will be considered
Professional presence in person and on the phone

Computer proficiency required including MS products, e-mail and Internet.  Salesforce experience preferred.

Human Resources Consultant, Cincinnati, OH


Our client has an established Human Resources Consulting practice that is growing because so many businesses utilize their services for project management, compliance and strategic employee development. This role, Human Resources Consultant, is an addition to the current team and will serve a diverse group of the firm’s client base including some without sophisticated internal departments that turn to the firm to serve in this capacity.
Human Resources Consultant Responsibilities
  • Work closely with insureds to provide answers to Human Resources inquiries related to providing sample materials, information on employment liability issues and advising on best practices.
  • Handle consulting assignments or special projects for clients. This can involve compliance audits, creation of employee handbooks, compensation analysis and development, employment practices investigations and employee relations initiatives.
  • Work closely with the agency’s producers and client managers to communicate updates on clients and facilitate information sharing on potential revenue opportunities.
  • Help the agency’s internal Human Resources team with team building and morale initiatives, training workshops and recruiting projects.
Human Resources Consultant Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree plus PHR or SPHR designation is required.
  • A minimum of five (5) years in Human Resources experience; prior sales and consulting experience is helpful. Most importantly is senior level experience involving issues of program development, project management and consulting.
  • Broad knowledge of Human Resources functions and processes including EEOC, compliance, compensation, benefits and employee relations.

Human Resources Consultant - Jackson, MS

This is a very unique opportunity for someone that has a blend of human resources experience and a sales aptitude.  Our client has one of the best employee benefits practices in the deep south and they are looking to compliment their existing services with a human resources consulting practice.  This is a great opportunity for someone that has strong HR skills but is looking to get away from sitting behind the desk all day.

Human Resources Consultant - Jackson, MS

Our client is a large, independent insurance agency well established in Mississippi.  They focus on specialized commercial industries important to the regional economy and service those insureds with unique markets and risk management services.  Depending on size and business structure many of their insureds don't employ risk management and Human Resources staff.  This position, Human Resources Consultant, serves as an advisor to the agency's insureds on staffing, administration and decision making matters.

Human Resources Consultant Responsibilities:
Work closely with businesses to identify areas of improvement in corporate benefits, employee development and staff retention.
Collaborate with internal agency staff to customize HR solutions for all components of the employment lifecycle.
Investigate administrative updates with affects the performance of the Human Resources function including compliance, accounting practices, technology utilization and risk management.
Contribute to the ongoing broker/client relationship building process solidifying the customer's satisfaction with the agency and improving renewal retentions.

Human Resources Consultant Qualifications:
At least five years of organizational management and/or Human Resources experience.
Prior background in sales, independent consulting or strategic design and leadership is important.
Personality and drive to participate in a fast-paced, demanding sales environment.
Can juggle multiple projects at various stages of consultation which may include prospecting sales calls, consulting sales presentations, HR program implementation and program management.
