Senior Wellness Coordinator
With offices throughout the Southeast, our client is a progressive independent insurance broker that is committed to providing long term health management solutions to its clients. In close conjunction with the employee benefits sales team, this position, Senior Wellness Coordinator, investigates issues pertaining to the health and welfare of a company's workforce. You'll work closely with businesses as the agency's expert on wellness initiatives and pool together the necessary internal and external resources for the program to be successful.
Senior Wellness Coordinator Responsibilities
As a consultant you will be involved in determining areas of concern within an employer's workforce; you'll gather data, communicate closely with the Human Resources and executive leaders and forecast long term cause and effect strategies for health promotion.
Serve as an expert partner with the agency's group health producers; show sales executives the way to approach a client about wellness initiatives, prepare proposals and presentations on cost and create an agenda for tracking the effects on client satisfaction and retention.
Participate in all phases of designing, implementing, modifying and monitoring wellness plans; hold external partners accountable for results with education and results tracking, coordinate invoice delivery and support web-based systems.
Senior Wellness Coordinator Requirements
Bachelor's degree in business, health promotion or public health
At least 5-8 years of experience managing health promotion and health management programs
Can take a consultative sales approach to wellness promotion and implementation; this includes meeting with executive business leaders on tailored strategies and costs involved with wellness programs.
Some travel is involved
