Well respected property casualty insurance company offers opportunity to join claims department in key position. As a Senior Commercial Casualty Claims Specialist you will handle complex, agribusiness-focused commercial casualty claims.
Senior Commercial Casualty Claims Specialist Responsibilities:
- Investigates losses, evaluates exposures, establishes accurate reserves and manages defense and settlement or conclusion of complex, agribusiness-focused commercial casualty claims.
- Re-evaluates exposures and reserves during the life of the claim.
Senior Commercial Casualty Claims Specialist Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 8 years multi-line adjusting experience with an emphasis in adjusting complex casualty claims.
- An in-depth knowledge of commercial lines coverages and exposures as well as strong decision making, judgment and negotiating skills is needed.
- Experience working with files in litigation. Leadership abilities.
- Effective communication skills is a must. Claims coursework including AIC, CPCU, or SCLA is a plus.
- The candidate selected must be able to secure and maintain a multi-state adjuster license.
