Vice President Employee Benefits, Producer - Milwaukee, WI

This is one of the most exciting opportunities I've seen this year.  I'm working with a client that has a very strong employee benefits practice that is looking to elevate  their program through the hire of an experienced producer.  They are an outfit that has a strong groundwork laid out and is looking for someone with fresh and innovative ideas about how to be a leader in these uncertain times.  This is a high earning opportunity with leadership potential and does require relocation to Milwaukee, WI!

Vice President Employee Benefits, Producer
Our client is a well respected insurance brokerage recognized as a leader in the size and scope of its risk management operations. The agency sees nothing but opportunity and profit within group benefits despite already having a substantial, established department.  Understanding there are several pieces that will be needed to achieve the agency's goals, the agency is seeking a senior group benefits producer to immediately infuse energy, team leadership and strategic vision.  In return, the agency is prepared to provide tremendous autonomy to achieve your career goals along as well as discuss management opportunities.    They are in a period of terrific growth and seek to balance their team leadership with the addition of an experienced senior benefits producer.  Your personal production, natural leadership and strategic vision will serve as a motivation for the existing team to push forward and evolve with the market.

VP, Employee Benefits Producer Responsibilities:
First and foremost, you're responsible for generating revenue through individual production.
Your target market should be larger, mid-sized accounts with goal of moving the entire group of producers to a minimum 100 ees group size; preferrably you're consistently attracting several hundred to a few thousand life groups.
Use your production strategies to further the team's cohesion and maximize sales opportunities: promote team based selling, cross selling with the P&C division, strengthen marketing relationships, etc.
Participate in division leadership; identify new producer recruiting opportunities, make the service and sales process as efficient as possible to meeting the client's needs; participate in the larger group benefits community as a representative of the agency.

VP, Employee Benefits Producer Qualifications:
At least seven (7) years of successful group benefits sales experience with a larger regional agency, national brokerage or consulting firm.
Adopt a marketing plan based on capturing business on a local and regional level, specifically those accounts generating significant premiums with several hundred employees.
Desire active participation in leadership decisions, early on specifically focusing on sales leadership.
