Insurance CSR, Accounting Specialist - Chicago, IL (Western Suburbs)

This is a great opportunity for a CSR with some accounting experience with a strong agency in the western suburbs of Chicago.  Our client needs someone with a strong service experience as well as good accounting experience.


Insurance CSR, Accounting Specialist
Our client is a reputable independent agency seeking an experienced commercial lines account manager.  This role will support the agency's producer in all phases of the client service process.  Additionally, you'll oversee the agency's accounting processes.

Insurance CSR, Accounting Specialist:
Provide support to the property and casualty sales team through the management of policy administration, billing, claims and renewal preparation.
Provide timely responses to client inquiries concerning certificate requests, endorsements, policy interpretation, gathering renewal information and coverage analysis.
Manage all accounting related functions including accounts payable, account receivable and agency billing.

Insurance CSR, Accounting Specialist Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree is required.
Work with AMS360 is required.
Experience with accounting responsibilities such as AR/AP, premium trust funds, calculating agency commissions and billing.
Active IL P&C license.
1-2 years of commercial insurance client service experience with knowledge of commercial property, General Liability, commercial auto and workers' compensation coverage.
Organized, can maintain accurate files, proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel.
