Commercial Insurance Account Assistant - Nashville, TN

Account Manager and Customer Service Representative are the most common titles used within insurance agencies to define the separation of duties between policy administration and book of business management.  This position, Commercial Insurance Account Assistant, is a blend of the two largely because the agency wants to evolve the role from purely administration into also handling a lot of the small business accounts and supporting marketing on middle market cases.  You will be exposed to a wide variety of industries and asked work alongside a very accomplished producer and account executive team.  You'll be able to learn and grow in your role as well as take on a lot of client management responsibilities.      

Commercial Insurance Account Assistant Responsibilities
Assist with managing the delivery of services in a timely and efficient manner.  This includes following up on questions from the insured about policy changes, billing, claims, certificates and other general processing.
Take over a large portion of the renewal process for small business accounts- information gathering and updating, marketing, online rating, preparing cover letters about pricing and binding.
Work closely with the Account Executive on middle market accounts.  Put submissions together, provide status reports and help prepare presentation slides.
Commercial Insurance Account Assistant Requirements
At least three (3) years of commercial property and casualty insurance experience at an insurance agency in a customer service representative, assistant account management or account management capacity.
State insurance license.
Broad proficiency with P&C policies like general liability, property, auto and workers compensation is required. 
Experience with billing, customer service calls, policy review, and renewal marketing.

Commercial Lines Account Manager - Columbia, SC

The role of Commercial Insurance Account Manager for this large, regional agency is to support the client administration, marketing and retention of the Columbia team's book of business.  This is a dynamic team that has a strong middle market platform, so you'll be asked to play a big part in how the agency can support onboarding new accounts, handling complex risks and implementing key workflow procedures that are in line with the rest of the offices in the region. 



Commercial Insurance Account Manager Responsibilities
Establish solid client relationships and manage the delivery of services along with answering questions from clients about coverage, billing and endorsements.
Identify important client needs as well as cross selling opportunities and effectively communicate those needs to the sales team.
Coordinate the renewal activity of client accounts like information gathering, rate, pricing negotiations, proposal writing and communications.
Commercial Insurance Account Manager Requirements
At least three (3) years of commercial property and casualty insurance experience in an account management capacity.  Underwriting experience, because of the policy handling and rating experience, will absolutely be considered.
Bachelor's degree or commensurate experience.

Assistant Commercial Lines Account Manager - Athens, GA

The Assistant Commercial Lines Account Manager is responsible for supporting the customer service team with a large portion of the policy administration for a book of business that's under the supervision of a senior account executive.  You will be involved in the maintenance of several large commercial accounts and take timely action on requests from insureds on policy items including certificates.  This insurance agency feels very strongly about growing and developing its employees who begin in entry level roles.  In this position you'll gain valuable experience with large accounts.

Assistant Commercial Lines Account Manager Responsibilities
Compile, organize and analyze data into spreadsheets.  This can include claims information, property values, financial information and market pricing comparisons to be reviewed by the account executive.
Prepare submissions and assist with binders and renewal paperwork.
Issue certificates, handle light contract review and speak directly with insureds to take information related to policy changes.
Assistant Commercial Lines Account Manager Requirements
About 1-3 years of property and casualty insurance industry experience in a customer service or policy administration role.

Have a general understanding of commercial property, general liability and auto forms and filings.  Able to maintain accurate records in the agency's database management system, issue certificates and work under renewal deadlines.

Senior Account Manager, Employee Benefits Responsibilities

Provide marketing and client services for designated prospects and clients.

Independently manage the market submission (RFP) process, secure information to effectively market to all carrier partners, prepare all new and renewal submissions for marketing, request data from insurance companies, review proposals and complete benefit and rate comparison, and communicate strategies with the client.

Stay abreast of markets, products, and carrier competitiveness to provide a comprehensive product portfolio to the client.
Act as a liaison between the client and insurance companies in order to resolve all normal service issues regarding billing, claims, eligibility, and other customer service issues.

Senior Account Manager, Employee Benefits Requirements

7-10 years of applicable experience in a brokerage/retail agency environment.
MI Life/Health license required.
Experience with large self-funded medical plans necessary.

Additional designations such as RHU, REBC, and CEBS preferred.

Our client is a large, independent agency with expertise to create insurance plans for a diverse group of industries.   They have offices throughout the Southeast and are recognized as leaders in commercial and group life & health programs.  They seek an experienced Group Benefits Account Manager to join their team. In this role you will manage and coordinate the business relationship with clients and support the internal administration of the benefits department.



Group Benefits Account Manager Responsibilities:
Establish solid client relationships and manage the delivery of services along with answering questions from clients about coverage, billing, and endorsements.
Identify important client needs as well as cross selling opportunities and effectively communicate those needs to the sales team.
Coordinate the administrative activity of client accounts, i.e. project management of implementations, client restructuring, enrollments, special projects and oversight of weekly processing of client data needs.

Group Benefits Account Manager Qualifications:
At least three (3) years as an employee benefits account manager working for a retail agency handling group life and health accounts.
Varied background in fully funded and self-funded accounts is preferred; ability to handle a growing book that will start out at about $500k in agency revenue.
Active state life and health license or able to obtain one shortly after hire.

I'm working with one of the leading agencies in the Shreveport area and they need a strong employee benefits account manager.  Our client works with some of the largest groups in the area and while they would like self funded experience they are open to someone with group medical experience in the 50 - 150 life arena.




Our client is a Louisiana based independent agency with expertise to create insurance plans for a diverse group of industries.    They seek a customer service representative to join their Employee Benefits division in Shreveport. In this role you will manage and coordinate the business relationship with clients and support the internal administration of the benefits department.

Group Benefits Account Manager Responsibilities:

Ocean Marine and Energy Account Manager

Our client is a progressive independent broker with deep roots in the Gulf Coast insurance community.  The marine practice has experienced such tremendous growth that this position, Senior Commercial Account Specialist, will be added so the agency can continue providing excellent service to its insureds.   In this role you'll serve as a critical component of meeting the account management marketing and relationship building needs of companies in the business of marine and energy.

Senior Commercial Account Specialist, Marine Responsibilities:
You'll assist a senior producer and Account Executive with pre-underwriting analysis, renewal preparation, written service execution, risk management implementation and market negotiations. You'll participate in all phases of the client management process which might involve policy and claims review, identifying coverage gaps, making policy changes and working through billing and finance issues.    
Frequently interact with the insureds providing prompt responses on questions, furthering the business relationship by building relationships with markets and meeting with insureds on occasion throughout the year.
 
Senior Commercial Account Specialist, Marine Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree is preferred; pursuit of continuing education and/or industry endorsements will be supported by the agency.
Active Louisiana P&C license or able to obtain one shortly upon hire.
At least five (5) years of property and casualty insurance experience with a detailed exposure to marketing initiatives and underwriting negotiations.
Previous work experience that will be considered:  commercial underwriter, agency account manager or wholesale broker particularly with an emphasis on handling marine risks.

Commercial Lines Account Manager

Our client is an independent agency with the knowledge and resources to insure a multitude of commercial business entities.  They are a regional insurance agency with the capacity to provide insurance and risk management programs for commercial clients that are local, national and international in their scope of operations.  As part of their growth plan they currently seek an experienced commercial account manager for the large accounts unit.  As Commercial Account Manager you're responsible for assuming leadership on new and existing commercial accounts.  You'll also partner closely with new producers who need assistance with everything from policy administration to new business marketing.

Commercial Account Manager Responsibilities:
Provide timely and accurate feedback to client inquiries on existing policies with regards to policy amendments, billing, claims and upcoming renewals.
Participate in the renewal cycle from start to finish; gather update account information, compile submissions and secure renewals quotes.
Assist other team members with overflow of processing, certificates or answering incoming calls.

Commercial Account Manager Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in insurance and risk management or a minimum of two (2) years property and casualty insurance experience.
Prior underwriting, marketing or agency client service experience will be considered.
Broad property and casualty coverage knowledge including property, casualty, work comp and auto.
Larger, middle market and risk management account experience.
Hold an active MS P&C license or obtain one shortly upon hire.
